what diameter grease tubes fit? The tubes I bought at TSC are too large to fit.

I guess I never knew they made more than the small and large. That being said their maybe different sizes, but make sure you put the end of the grease container that has the pull tab in last. That's the only way I figure a tube would be too big. Other than that, it takes the common size tube that I gave only ever used

A BIG YES!!!! I'm using one now . the gun has a lot of pressure .

worth buying especially if you own equipment

I don't know what to tell you. It's like any other battery grease gun I've ever had (Lincoln-had 3) as far as carrying them. Only this one just keeps going and going. Batteries last forever. I ordered my first Milwaukee set in 2009 and I kid you not, the batteries are all still working fine. After having Dewalt junk before that and replacing batteries yearly or sooner this seems like a miracle. I have two and have never had a problem. I bought a drill, a saber saw, and an impact in 09. Another drill later. A flashlight for the 18v bat. And two of these. Not one problem with any of them.
