How long is the handle from the reel seat to the but?

It depends on the model. On my light wt rod the butt to back seat is 6 inches. On my med light the distance is 7 1/2 inches. Don’t know if the measurement is a function is also a function of rod length.

What is the line size on the 7 foot, medium heavy? And also, the line size on the medium, 7 foot?

There is flexibility on the line strength depending upon the type of line and water obstructions, but for a medium heavy I recommend a 12-20 lb line and an 8-15 lb line for the medium
