Arrived with the handle broken turned it back.
Arrived with the handle broken turned it back, also glad it was the case as when compared to the similar product from Cusinart I was replacing which I had from 2012 this is a more expensive yet a much lower quality than what it used to be. wouldn't buy again

Do not buy!
I very rarely write reviews but I feel compelled to on this occasion - do not buy this item (see other reviews too!). I ordered this Cuisinart Griddle and Grill and it arrived in a beaten up old box that was clearly resealed at some point. Upon opening the box the grill inside was dirty and had old food on it! So clearly someone used it and returned it only for Amazon/Cuisinart to send it back out without checking it. It was returned within 1 hour of delivery and thankfully Amazon refunded the money straight away. I then ordered the same item direct from Cuisinart and it arrived box fresh - great I thought, until I turned it on! Half way through cooking some chicken the grill stopped working! I contacted Cuisinart for help and had NO reply after a week so I have now returned the item and will try an ex-boxers brand - I bet it actually works and will only be a 3rd of the cost. Good luck if you buy one of these, you have been warned!

This is a great sandwich toaster!
This is a great sandwich toaster…but it actually is so much more than that! Having tried a few different types of toaster that were either too small, or, just didn’t do a very good job, this Cuisinart Grill and Griddle does a great job. The machine is well made, with a good quality feel. So easy to use, and clean. The unit comes with a set of flat griddle plates and a set of ribbed grill plates that are so easy to swap over. You can also easily open the grill out flat, to cook a variety of different food and vegetables. The temperature control allows for excellent adjustment to suit your needs. The only thing that I would say is a negative would be that the unit is rather large, but if that’s not a problem for you, then the larger size becomes an advantage. Well happy with this one!
