I have used this product for years. I add it to every gallon of gas that goes in our backup generators. This product helped us get 14000 hours out of a small 3500 WATT generator. Other mechanical parts failed on the generator before the commonly occurring carburetor and fuel line problems that plague gas powered small engines. In my experience this product easily adds a couple THOUSAND hours to a well maintained gas powered small engine. If you want it to last, use this product!

I bought a 6 pack of the 360 PROTECTION. Then I suspected it was just an ethanol fuel stabilizer. On the label it didn't claim to clean fuel components. However, I went to the manufacturers website. This product does indeed clean the engine. And it does contain PEA! Hooray, redemption is at hand. I use 4 oz in my tank every fill up. That comes to 8 tankfuls of gasoline for one bottle of STA-BIL 360 Protection. For me, that's almost 3 months. And I bought a 6 pack from Amazon. Peace of mind at an affordable price.

***PLEASE READ*** IMPORTANT PRODUCT UPDATE INFORMATION: Use this for my 2012 Honda Odyssey, mainly because it doesn't get used often, and I can go 1 to 2 months between fill ups. I use it to prevent phase separation, because E-10 is the only fuel available where I live. This product does prevent that(supposedly, but I do trust STA-BIL) plus it also adds a bit of fuel storage protection for that extra time between fills. Additionally, the treat rate used to be 1 ounce for 2.5 gallons of fuel. That was printed on the bottle and on Sta-Bil's website. I order a case of 6 recently, and the new bottles state the treat rate is now 1 ounce for 5 gallons of fuel. ONE BOTTLE WILL NOW TREAT 160 GALLONS! I contacted Sta-Bil to verify this is correct and asked if the product had been changed, and was told "yes, though the product has not been reformulated, further testing indicated that a treat rate of 1 ounce per 5 gallons was sufficient in providing proper protection against ethanol fuels." AWESOME... just like the price was cut in half! Sta-Bils website has yet to be updated with this new treat rate, as well as the description here on Amazon, but check the back of the new bottles. It is printed there! I have half of an older bottle left which still has the old treat rate on it that I now use according to the new rate. Seems like it will last forever now.

I travel most of the year in my RV but tend to stay in one place for a few months at a time once I get somewhere. In the past that caused problems like sluggish performance and lost horsepower when I started it back up. It's really obvious when you're talking about such a big vehicle that has a car in tow. Since I started using this I've had none of those symptoms. It starts and performs great even after several months of not being started. I don't use it every tank. I just use it on the last fill up before I know I'm going to be getting off the road. That allows it to work through my entire fuel system and help protect everything. I also run my generator for a few minutes while setting up at the campground to get it into there as well. I've noticed it starts easier and idles more smoothly now too. I paid full price and hate sponsored reviews.

Use all year long in my small engines. Never have a problem starting engines after winter months. Seems to take care of those ethanol issues
