Needed a bit of attention. But, great guitar!
Upon receipt I attempted to tune the guitar and got all strings to tune except the octave G string which broke. I put on one of the replacement strings that came with the guitar and it broke as well. Playing the guitar without this string was still a wonderful experience. It sounds phenomenal! For the price you absolutely cannot go wrong! The bone nut was the issue and is being addressed at my luthier as well as a full setup and string replacement with some phosphor bronze DโAdarrioโs. The frets showed a bit of sprout as they were not completely dressed. (To be expected). I highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking to get their first 12 string. Added Notes: I am now a month into owning this guitar and even more pleased with it than the day I received it. After having the nut and saddle worked on, this guitar really came to life. The sound is absolutely wonderful played acoustically and even more impressive played through a console. Vangoa went all out on the electronics. Only notable issues with the guitar are as follows. 1. Minor split on the fretboard wood. 2. Some of the sound hole decoration peeled during cleaning 3. The bridge is slightly pulled away from the face of the guitar (hasnโt gotten worse since first opened at least - attached to guitar with two hidden screws)

Great guitar for under $200
This a beautiful guitar and very playable. I do have to deal with a little buzzing of one string. The price was so reasonable that I donโt mind repairing the fret levels ๐ The gig bag is also higher quality than expected. The bag of supplies and tools was also more than expected ๐

Great guitar and great customer service
This is a seriously great guitar for the money, and the customer service is amazing as well! It has a nice fit and finish, and it's a great playing and sounding guitar. I was looking to get a 12-string into my guitar collection again, as I was missing having one, and wanted to use one for an upcoming project. I came across several YouTube reviews for this, so I thought I'd order it and give it a shot. The initial guitar was quite nice, but had a couple defects; I contacted Vangoa customer service, and sent info and pics of the issues, and they quickly sent me a replacement guitar. Shout out to Cleo for all the help! I was pleasantly surprised with quality of this guitar, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I feel it's important to note that if you have any issues at all, contact Vangoa customer service; they are happy and willing to help. It's honestly been years since I dealt with a company that would actually stand behind their product like that.

Disappointed
After having seen the reviews on this 12 string guitar, I thought I'd give it a shot. I already have a 12 string (Epiphone DR212, a Christmas gift) that I really like, but the Vangoa has a pickup and a cutaway, two features that I wish the Epi had. As if I needed further justification, I sometimes play in DADGAD tuning so another 12 would save me the trouble of re-tuning from standard. And experience has taught me that the ideal number of guitars you need in your collection is, precisely and invariably, one more than you currently possess. My first impression: it's a very nice looking instrument (I ordered the natural finish), though I'm not a fan of the headstock or logo. A closer inspection revealed a few minor flaws; 1) there was a small amount of fret sprout with sharp fret ends, though nothing terrible, and 2) at the saddle, the spacing of the string courses was inconsistent (the space between the two D strings was different than that between the two A's, etc). At the nut, the spacing was more consistent. 3) Upon tuning (I tuned a full step down from standard), I thought the tuners felt questionable. I had to tweak them soon after starting to play although, with new strings, that is to be expected. So the jury was still out on the tuners. The highlight of the experience came when I started to play - the guitar has a very nice tone in my opinion. Granted, if I had a Taylor or Martin handy for comparison, I may have been less impressed. But I didn't, and don't... and probably won't. Getting close to retirement, my days of $1000 (or more) guitars are behind me. So I was all set to start correcting the minor flaws and consider the purchase a huge win until, after a few days, I noticed the rear of the bridge was starting to lift. In all honesty, I liked the tone of the guitar so much that I considered just keeping it and adding this to the list of repairs. But I'm not prepared to spend that much time and effort repairing a new guitar so, sadly, I'm returning it. I'd read a few reviews from people who've had the same problem, and many who apparently haven't. Perhaps I'm just one of the unlucky few. I may decide to order another one and hope for a better outcome, I haven't decided. If I do, I'll update my review.

This is an excellent 12 string guitar!
I don't know how many times I looked at YouTube videos to help me decide whether or not this was a good choice or not. I've owned an Epiphone for 12 years but was having a problem with the bridge and decided it was time for a new guitar and was looking for something on the low-cost side. I was extremely impressed with this guitar right out-of-the-box, perfect in every way quality. The sound quality and action are quite impressive as well as the beautiful wood front and back are beautiful to look at. I love it, and it is a steal at this price!
