Carhartt Women's Rugged Flex 6 Inch Comp Toe CWF5355 Work Boot

First time work boot buyer. It took about a week to break them in but they are great. I did put in some really cheap insoles for added comfort. Very light weight, they feel like normal boots. I’ve been wearing them in the field for over a month and they’ve been through rocky, muddy, and straight up watery terrain, engine grease splotches and they held up great! They do get a little slippery on metal surfaces when wet so just be a little cautious in rain but not enough to make me get a different boot. Will buy again when these get worn out. Update: I’ve had these for about a year now and still holding up great! They now have a little notch in them from dropping a steal pipe on the toe but they did their job and I didn’t feel anything. Definitely recommend! Update 2: photo is from 2 years later. As you can see they are well used! Still holding up great! I do wear them less in the fall and spring because I’m usually in my muck (generic) boots due to mud/puddles, but these still get plenty of wear. Really happy with my purchase!

So I really didn't want to order my steel toe boots online bc I knew the risks of them not fitting. So I read reviews. Both here and other venues online. This boot got rave reviews from all fronts. First, and most importantly: they are true to size. I wear a women's US size 6.5 so that's the size I ordered. They fit like a glove! Snug, but not biting. Next and going along with the fit, there is NO BREAK IN PERIOD!! I work 12 hour shifts on concrete floors in a warehouse. I experienced ZERO pain in my feet and ankles the first AND second nights with these on. I wore them every night for the last several nights for 12 hours and still feel absolutely no pain whatsoever. I'm blown away and my coworkers are in disbelief. When I was promoted to a position that required these boots they all warned me about the break in period and how heavy work boots are. After making sure the composite toe was cleared by my company, I was shocked by how much these boots Didn't weigh! They're about the same weight as any of my winter boots, definitely not as heavy as a traditional steel toe. And just as safe, according to my company's safety committee. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for a work boot. And they're absolutely gorgeous too, and every female I work with came up and complimented them. I got the darker brown option (if that's still available). Quality you'd expect from Carhartt and the comfort you need from a work boot!

It’s my 2nd time buying these and I wear them for 9 hours a day until they wear out. Super comfortable, no breaking in necessary. Love them!!

They fit very well and I did not have to break them in. I wore them just fine and my feet didn’t hurt from day one. The treads on them are great.
