Review: Best Book For the Flight Crew Interview - Ten years ago I bought this, became a FA and after the airline went out of business, missing flight crew work had me buying it again. Sometimes it's perspective when you interview. And this gives you the right one to have to get the job. I recommend it to everyone interested in this career. It's a different kind of interview, you just need the key. This is it. Review: I highly recommend purchasing this book if you are serious about becoming ... - I highly recommend purchasing this book if you are serious about becoming a Flight Attendant (FA). I was invited to participate in a video interview by an airline about a month ago, however, I had no idea as to what I was getting involved in (FA interviews are anything but typical). Needless to say I did very poorly and was sent the dreaded thanks-but-no-thanks (TBNT) email shortly thereafter. I've since applied with another airline and was scheduled for a telephone interview. As soon as this happened I ordered 'The Essential Guide To Becoming A Flight Attendant', and I am so glad I did because every question that was asked of me in the phone interview was mentioned in this book (keep in mind that they may have been prefaced differently, but the idea was the same). I was able to answer each question in a calm yet confident manner because I was PREPARED, and the result is that I was invited to attend a group interview in a few weeks. I agree with a previous reviewer that because of the length of time this book has been available there is absolutely NO excuse for there to be ANY misspellings and/or grammatical errors. I am not surprised by these errors because I read the reviews prior to purchasing the book. I am shocked, however, that Kiki Ward stresses attention to detail in her book yet has not applied it to her finished product. Overall, I would not be deterred in purchasing this book just because of the spelling/grammatical errors. It really is essential if you too aspire to be an FA!

Wonderful and helpful book! A must have!
I ordered this book because I have always been interested in flying, being a flight attendant probably like many of you that are looking at this book now. I have to say I was really surprised by the book and how very helpful it was. It answered question about the application process even with a QA section whats correct and what is incorrect etc. After I read this book I had a specific question about boarding and some other random ones that I wanted to know more about so I wrote an email to Kiki, mostly thinking I wont get any response, but I was wrong. withing less then 24 hours I had a response in my email with all the questions answered and it was so nice I was really amazed ! If you are really interested in being a flight attendant this is a really great book to have and you can even email her. How FANTASTIC is that ?! I 100% love this book and think you will too.

Good read if you're interested in applying to an airline ...
Good read if you're interested in applying to an airline as a flight attendant. I think there are other great (more current) resources out there on the specific airline you might be applying with, and I urge you to look at those as well. This book definitely gave me an interesting insight into the job and history about the flight attendant position. Quick and easy read. I read this a few weeks before my interview with Delta Air Lines and I think it helped prepare me for the interview and realties of the position I now have as a Delta FA :)

Great book, Needs update information
Used this book for my first interview with airline and it was perfect, I got the job. Several years later I went in for two different interviews with the same carrier after reading this book and the information just doesn’t apply the same. Great information, just needs to be updated to reflect the times. Also if you email the author, she does respond!

Good overall read to prepare for your wings!
I found this book to be a helpful read preparing for my interviews for a flight attendant. It gives a good overview of what to expect before the interview, during the hiring process, and also what to expect as a flight attendant. I already knew some of the things in the book, but this helped put everything into perspective. The practice questions for interviewing helped me prepare and get in the right mindset. I also looked online at glassdoor for for current reviews and forums on Indeed as well. I'm happy to say I've been offered a position at a major carrier and can't wait to get my training date!

Got F2F
I ordered KiKis book ""Essential Guide To Becoming A Flight Attendant" a while back after bombing my United interview. There was a lot of useful information. I also ordered Help I Have A Flight Attendant Interview: Work Book For Your S.T.A.R Interview .After reading them it made my phone interview easy. After reading the books I knew what kind of questions to expect and best of all how to answer using S.T.A.R. I got the F2F with USAirways.... worth every penny. Also a fun book about life as a flight attendant I ordered Cruising Attitude: Tales of Crashpads, Crew Drama, and Crazy Passengers at 35,000 Feet

Up and Away!
Well I’ve used this book to prepare for interviews to become a Flight Attendant. It’s so informative. Plus I sent the author a message, and to my surprise she responded back. It’s my new Bible. Go to the website and print the questions for the airline you’ve either received an invite or dropping in on an open house. I use all resources available. Some are lucky and get hired right away, others like me I keep getting close but this book is on point, so I know I’m on track. Go to flightattendantcareers.com. Good Luck!
