I like a bluetooth mouse the best because it does "not" require that dongle...something protruding from the laptop that can accidentally be broken off or damaged when moving the laptop. Now to your other question I see here....even if your mouse "does" require a dongle to talk to the laptop, you can use this 5-in-1 adapter to hook up all the other devices you've listed in your question and all at the same time. Note, if you look at the end of the cable on the adapter and it has a "blue" bar (when you look in the end of the cable) then make sure you hook it up to the port on your laptop that also has the blue color or the letters, "SS" printed right above the port itself. Nice to have another HDMI port on my laptop. EDIT: (22dec2023) It's been months an for some reason I just now noticed that, it seems to be unable to transfer sound? Whatever monitor that is plugged into this wont be able to make sound, even if it has speakers. Note to those complaining about it disconnecting all the time: You more than likely need an adapter. Look at the color of your USB plugs. If they are not blue, then you likely have old plugs and they are not compatible. An adapter that has a black plug will work with old plugs. Most adapters will have a black plug with blue plugs in the HUB. Anyway, this is only for the USB plugs, not the HDMI. I'm getting the same issue with the screen disconnecting. It seems like this adapter needs a lot of power to run, and whenever your computer does an operation that uses RAM or something, that will trigger the screen to blackout. For me this literally happens any time I have to save something. Be it, dragging an image into a folder, moving files, or saving a project I'm working on. The blackouts aren't bothering me too much, since this is meant to be a 4th screen for me, but I've seen others trying to use this as their main screen, and can definitely see how this would be extremely frustrating. It worked "okay" at best for a couple months and that was it. EDIT: Mere hours later Yeah no, this is happening literally minutes apart now. It's no longer just blacking out, it's full on disconnecting every few minutes.
