The instructions aren't that complicated
Based on the other reviews, I was expecting some kind of indecipherable Engrish with unclear pictures. In reality, the instructions are very specific, and very clear. JUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM EXACTLY. It's not hard.

Horrible!
I am no idiot, but this was so complicated and aggravating that I threw it in the trash. The instructions were difficult and opening the vials, especially while holding a vial of my own urine, proved frustrating to say the least. It was a waste of money!

Works Well
The test is clearly written but takes a few read-throughs to grasp. There's 3 vials inside a larger vial and the combos are critical, {a+b, but not c, etc} one vial has what appears to be nothing but a rusty ring around the tip... that is the reagent and its supposed to look like that. One of the critiques I'd read - from someone clearly English-challenged - was that the instructions were confusing and that the rusty ring was evidence of expired materials. He was wrong. The stuff works fine if you follow the instructions.

Ineffective
There’s no collection receptacle, funnel, tube stands. Instructions are unclear.

Poor quality - did not work
This mercury test kit comes with 4 vials: one to collect your "specimen" (urine or saliva) and 3 vials with reagents. To use the kit, you pee/spit into the collection vial, add the reagents, and then compare the final color of the solution to a spectrum of colors on the side of the box to determine your mercury levels. This is pretty standard for a DIY test kit.Everything seemed great, until I noticed that one of the reagent vials was empty. Instead of the "red liquid" the instructions described, all it had was dried red residue. I'm not sure how the liquid dried up (the vial was sealed), but it was definitely unusable. I tried to salvage the test kit by scraping the residue into the collection vial, but unsurprisingly, it didn't work - the liquid never changed color. The box lists an expiration date of June 2016 - need I say poor quality?I originally bought this kit to avoid more expensive testing at the doctor's office, but it looks like you might be better off making the trek to the hospital.

Fast shippment
The item shipped fast. I recevied it in great condition. I did have issues with the instructions. I didn't understand how to get it to work. Probably user error.
