Great Budget Camera That Just Works 📹
Gave the Tapo TC60 Indoor Security Camera 5 stars. Really solid indoor camera—image quality is clear and the night vision works well even in complete darkness. Setup is quick through the app and it integrates perfectly with the rest of the Tapo setup. Motion alerts come through instantly and the two-way talk is a nice extra. Big plus is no monthly fees and the option for local storage, which makes it great value overall. If you want a simple, reliable indoor camera without subscriptions, this is a no-brainer.

Good quality and value with good functionality.
Doing exactly what it said it would. Easy to set up and use the signal is a little weak when only a short distance from the router but it still functions. Not used the micro SD function yet but it was one of the main reasons I purchased. Seems good quality and the picture is very crisp. Alerts and detections work as they should. As of a few days in I am very happy with this purchase. UPDATE I have now used the SD card function to record detections. It is superb at night it even detects and records the movement of a money spider that messes around on the lens. The whole playback process is very easy to use as is the rest of the app. Great purchase!

Great quality indoor camera with strong night vision
The camera quality is really good. Images are clear and visible and the night vision works well for indoor monitoring. From a window perspective its not as visible at night but I managed to adjust it by changing the modes to Day mode which still lets you see clearly even after dark. It works best for indoor use like keeping an eye on pets, babies or general home security. The two way talk and compatibility with Alexa & Google are nice added features. It is reliable, clear and functional for everyday indoor and outdoor monitoring

Good quality camera, reasonable price, some minor detection and app issues.
I bought this initially as my partner wanted to keep an eye on the birds in our garden that we feed. (It's lovely to watch and the food depletes so quickly so we wanted to work out how). I later bought another one that I used for our home office (to ensure nobody went in as there is confidential work stuff there). Some general observations (accurate at time of writing - July 2023): + The camera is good quality and matches what you would expect for a camera of this value. + Motion detection will notify your phone in realtime so you can immediately log on to see what is going on (all being possible remotely, as long as you have mobile internet/wifi). + It is so easy to set up - even me (who has an aversion to instruction manuals, and zero common sense) could follow it. + The speed is great - it's in real time, and there weren't any 'lags' or glitches. + There is an app to view cameras (at least for iPhone) which is so easy to use. The layout shows all cameras that you have connected so you can swap between them. + There's a helpful ball axis so you can angle the camera sideways, horizontally and vertically to your liking. + The camera comes on a tiny secure stand and is virtually 'ready to go' on receipt. + There are helpful settings so you can disable motion detection if you want to, specifically between certain times. + You can add multiple cameras to your account in one handy place, and you can even 'share' cameras. So, you and a partner, for example, can link the same camera and view simultaneously. + You can name separate cameras and link them very easily to your account. + The date and time is listed on the screen so you can prove timings if recording is necessary. + Overview on your account will enable you to see which cameras are 'online' and 'offline'. + Troubleshooting help is available on the App easily. + Wide lens to enable a larger range - Unfortunately there were some detection issues. Whilst tiny birds would set off the sensor on one, the other failed to detect a person coming into my home office. The same camera has since detected people, so I think it is a consistency issue rather than camera-specific defect. - I believe you have to pay to upgrade to store/record videos - although that's avoidable if you are quick to notice detection and do a screen recording on your iPhone. - Frustratingly, whilst you can turn off detection at specific times, you cannot modify the days. That can be an issue if you have yourself in the frame and you want to monitor your office all the time that you are not there, but you are not there all day on a specific day, because you can only choose times to turn off detection. You have to manually change it (and remember to - that's the big issue!) - If you have a camera that is linked to somebody else's, and you subsequently add another, it will link yours to their account too. That can be irritating as notifications will go to both when movement is detected, when you may be the only one who wants to see both cameras, and them, one. - Notification settings are shared, so if your fellow viewer disables them, they become disabled on yours without warning. That can be frustrating, and similarly, if one phone was to go AWOL, it would be easier for privacy invasion. - When using 4G on the App I have had issues with connections, and it is therefore not the most consistent/reliable support.

Brilliant Quality and Value
Can't recommend these cameras enough. Just added another, control from my Tapo App on my Android phone. Such good quality images, and amazing price. I've added a internal micro card for recordings, so no ongoing costs. Just brilliant.

Tapo TC60 Indoor Camera
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the second Tapo TC60 Indoor Camera we’ve bought. We originally bought one as a gift for my father-in-law, and he loved it so much that he asked for another one! The camera is really easy to set up and use, making it ideal for anyone, even if they’re not particularly tech-savvy. The picture quality is excellent for the price, with a clear, sharp image, and the motion notifications are accurate without constantly sending false alerts. For the price, it’s fantastic value for money. We’d definitely recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

pleasantly surprised at the performance and features for the price
I absolutely love Bambu printers. Even the entry-level A1, A1 Mini have excellent capabilities. If you upgrade to the P-series and up you get even better capabilities and flexibility of the enclosed printers. However, one thing that remains lagging and absolutely needs to be improved are the cameras. AFAIK, the A1, A1 mini, P1P/P1S share the same module; the P2 improves on this a little bit. You would have to go to the X1 carbon to the H-series to get better picture quality (and video feed). The attached picture was from the video feed of the C100, in total darkness. This is a $20 camera. This camera is optimized for room viewing and not close-ups, but the image quality far surpasses the built-in cameras of the printers I mentioned. I would have gladly paid an upgrade fee for a replacement Bambu OE camera. Two of my printers are in one upstairs bedroom (converted into a home office), another printer is located in a ground floor room, while a 4th printer is in the garage. Having a good view of the print in progress is a must and the "slideshow-quality" of the images taken by the OE cameras leave a lot to be desired. I tried this C100 to see what kind of improvement I could get with their cheapest model and I was in awe at the quality comparison. 720-1080p @ 15-30fps is more than adequate. You can watch the video on your phone using the Tapo app or access the network stream via RTSP. The picture showed was captured using VLC media player. Setup was simple and straightforward. Just make sure you connect to the same wireless network SSID as your phone (the printer and phone need to be in the same network group), otherwise you will be prompted every 5 minutes or so to "continue watching the stream". Once you've setup wifi-access, the app does not allow you to change the SSID. You would have to do a full reset of the camera itself to change any network configuration. Other than that, you can view all your cameras using different 3rd party methods. Power is via a small 9V DC brick with barrel connectors. The wire is sufficiently long for placing the camera in an elevated position. The camera works in both light and dark conditions and has real night vision. It also has motion detection sensors. No subscription is required. You don't need storage if you are only viewing, but may want to add 16-128GB SD card if you want to do review previous videos.
