Motorcraft FA1884 Air Filter

recently replaced the air filter in my Ford with the Motorcraft FA1884, and I’m very satisfied with the results. As an OEM part, it fits perfectly—no hassle during installation, and it sealed exactly as it should. Right away, I noticed smoother engine performance and slightly better fuel efficiency. The build quality is excellent, with durable materials and a tight, clean finish that inspires confidence. It’s great to have peace of mind knowing I’m using a part specifically designed for my vehicle. If you’re looking for reliability and factory-spec performance, the FA1884 is the way to go. The package intially came of wrong varient which had to be returned to get the right one again after re-ordering it. The package recieved came with a slightly torn packaging but the filter itslef was intact so deduction of 1 star. I have yet to install in my Ford Explorer 2015 V6, but it matches perfectly with the original one. Motorcraft is the OEM specification air filter so no compatibility worries. It works great to enhance your engine performance and maintain good fuel average as part of routine maintenance of your vehicle.

Manufacturer filters are the only way to go these days. Cheap aftermarket options clog up quickly and need to be replaced frequently... your gas mileage will suffer. One word of advice if youre replacing the filter in the winter - make sure the new filter is warm (room temp) before installing. If it’s cold, the rubber rim gets stiff and it’s darn near impossible to lock the top of the filter casing back on over the filter.

Oem specs, fits right in, easy to install. Instead of paying $40+ at dealer.

Never sure these days if K&N filters oil the mass airflow sensor so bought this to test out theory. Don't mind doing regular changes at this price !!
