The color is rope The bulb part is a silicone material Comes with screws and mounting hardware Cons: Since the colors are ropes and the wires are running inside them, they don’t drape like the picture. I worked for a little bit at it, but didn’t break my back and it looks fine enough! You have to play around with the lengths if you’re wanting different heights since it’s hard to figure out, “if I move the round ceiling mount to the left what happens?” And then doing that 10 times haha Screws are silver and don’t match the designated colors. I’m going to buy nail polish and hope a dab does the trick. Very functional. Easy to put together. Works just as advertised. We used 1 watt bulbs because I don’t need kids staring into the bulbs and who doesn’t love a patio feel? Definitely worth the buy if this is what you’re looking for. But it’s on the more expensive side for what it is.

**Q: Can you attach it to the ceiling where there’s no recessed lighting fixture? Are you able to add a cord to the center piece and use it as a plug in?**
A: I suppose an electrician could for sure!  I installed it to the ceiling light in the room I have specially decorated for my grankids…it’s soooo fun!!

**Q: Got any recommendations for figuring out spacing of the wire holders?**
A: Play with the “arms” to figure out how you would like for it to look….install one…then find the one exactly across from it and install as a continuous line from the first….and so on

**Q: do u have to attach it to an existing light fixture? our room doesn't come with any lights installed**
A: The installation place needs to have the power cord, you can pull the power cord to the ceiling. Can you understand that? If you don't understand, you can ask me again. Thank you for liking my color chandelier!

**Q: Can these be hooked up to a dimmer switch?**
A: Yes it can, our chandelier is hooked to the dimmer and it works perfect
