I just received this umbrella and tested it out. I have one question though, does anyone have hard time pushing the stick back in when closing it?

We Ordered two of the umbrella's, The red one with the plastic handle is difficult to close. The black one with the wood handle does not seem to be a problem for my husband. Otherwise the construction of the umbrella is good.

what is the length of the grip?

The length of the hand grip is 3 1/2 inches. The open/close button above it 1 inch.
