Material selection and finish are top. Suction Cup not yet tested. The cup still looks a lot more professional than even RAM suction cups. Do not use the Air Vent Holder with heavier handy like GPS phones. Will cause damage to the vent wing adjustment system.

Rock-Solid Hold — My Best Commuting Buddy. Highly Recommended!I commute across Ottawa every weekday in a compact SUV and use my phone for navigation, with the occasional hands‑free call or podcast. I have tried vent clips and cheap suction‑cup models. Most shook on rough roads, blocked the heat, or became brittle in winter. Magnetic mounts were convenient, but never held my larger phone securely in its protective case.I was complaining to a coworker about how hard it is to find a good‑quality car phone mount, and she recommended VANMASS. She’s been using hers for two years, and it’s still rock‑solid. 💪 It works well with large phones and thick cases too, so I placed my order right away on Amazon. ✅This car holder has three installation methods and can be attached to the windshield, the smooth dashboard and the air vent. I often use it on the dashboard. The 2.7‑inch cup is large enough to provide a solid base without taking over the windshield or blocking my view. The listing states that the suction system can produce up to 85 lb of holding force and is 60 times stronger than older models. I obviously did not hang 85 lb from my dashboard, but in normal driving the practical result is convincing: the mount feels planted, even with a heavy phone and case.I also like that it does not occupy an air vent. That matters when the heater is running for months at a time. I can position the phone where it is visible without blocking my view of the road, the instrument panel or the airflow. It rotates easily between portrait and landscape, and the lower support leaves enough room for my charging cable.One important point: the suction cup must be installed correctly. ⚠️ My first attempt was rushed, and I placed it on a surface that still had a little dust on it. It held at first, then began to loosen. I removed it, cleaned the area thoroughly, let it dry completely, and reinstalled the mount according to the instructions. The difference was significant, and it has remained solid since.Choose a smooth, flat location and test the viewing angle before locking it down. Make sure the surface is free of dust, oil, moisture and cleaning residue. Press the entire suction cup down evenly, engage the lock fully, and let it settle before adding the phone. A suction cup cannot form a reliable seal on a dusty, oily, curved or ice‑cold surface, so a few careful minutes during installation are well worth it. The LEATHER dashboard is NOT kind to ANY sucker. It's better to mount it on the windshield or air Vent instead.The 120-month warranty was another factor that gave me confidence in the purchase. A car mount in Ottawa has to deal with daily vibration, summer heat and very cold winters, so knowing that VANMASS stands behind the product adds real value. I have not needed to contact customer service, but the warranty provides welcome peace of mind.Overall, this mount checks every box for me: one‑handed operation, a strong hold over bumps, room for a large phone with its case on, no blocked vent, and dependable performance in sub‑zero weather. If you commute regularly and are tired of shaky vent clips or weak magnetic mounts, this is a worthwhile upgrade. Install it carefully, check the base occasionally, and it should serve you very well.If you're tired of constantly replacing cheap mounts and want one you can rely on, I highly recommend this one. It’s well worth every penny. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
