The NutriChef bamboo wine rack exceeded all my expectations. It looks great. The supports are sturdy, blemishless and easy to assemble. The construction took all of four minutes, without the use of tools, or the frustration of missing or damaged parts. I would go as far as to say that the construction was actually fun. It reminded me of playing with Lincoln Logs as a child. The rack, fully loaded with 72 bottles appears to handle the weight (over 200 pounds, if my calculations are correct) easily. I would recommend applying padded floor protectors to the bottom two side supports before assembly. The wine rack also comes in other sizes, colors and configurations. The only issue I have is that it is especially difficult to insert and remove bottles as they must be handled by the very top part of the neck. If your hand slips during the process, you could break the bottle or the one underneath it. Originally, I was going to attach a cord under each tier to catch any bottle that falls off the back bottle support, however I ended up cutting and using the styrofoam packing sheets that came with the rack to protect the pieces during shipping, and placing them under each row of bottles. This problem might have changed my product rating to 4-stars, however this is my first large wine rack, and I don't know if this issue is inherent with all wine racks or if it is a specific design flaw with this particular rack. One additional note: I bought neck tags to go along with the bottles for easy identification, but realized after my wine racks arrived, that if you register this product, you will receive 200 free wine bottle neck tags.

What a product, it was delivered within 2 days, nicely packed, nothing damaged, it was like putting together the old Lincoln logs, went together within 10 minutes. Very sturdy with no support. Nicely Done.

Works great. Study, stacks well. Just perfect for my closet to keep wine cool. Good angle. Stable and enough for 3 cases. I made 2 rows 1 for white and 1 for reds. Simple to make. Instruction explained perfectly.

Love the functionality and the size. Assembly started out very easy, even started my stop watch so I could see how fast, but then found that half the side panels were one size and the others were off a few millimeters. Hammer required to tap several of the side pieces in. Nothing major but not a quick slot and move on like I thought it would be after assembling the first two shelves. Recommendation - make sure you decide your final placement of the shelf before loading any wine bottles onto it. If you push it when loaded the side panel will collapse. It can handle the different size bottles too but not the ‘thicker’ bottle sizes - see photos

This is a GREAT wine rack, for the price point! It is extremely versatile and easy to assemble (basically, like building blocks). I wanted something to fit inside a cabinet and conveniently, neatly and safely hold as many bottles as possible. That required that I purchase the 72-bottle option (in order to fill the horizontal space of the cabinet. To allow the rack to fit in the vertical space of the cabinet, I could only stack half the number of shelves, but doing so required no DIY cutting or any manipulation; simply do not stack another level. Therefore, by selecting the 'size' that allow you to maximally fit the space you have, you essentially create a wine rack that appears to be custom-made! And it looks great! If you do not prefer the look of natural blonde wood, it is easily stainable. The bottles fit nicely, are easy to put in place and remove, and the rack is designed to tilt the bottle neck slightly lower than the 'punt' (or bottom), thus assuring the corks stay moist The only 'possible' limitation is that if the rack were to be built to accommodate 6-8 rows of bottles, I suspect it might 'wobble' more than desired. If in a tight space (like I show in the photos) that would not pose a problem. If on an open counter top, however, it might require gluing each piece with common wood glue, which would require a little more time (but not much DIY skill), And with the thickness and sturdiness of the materials, a little wood glue would certainly create a very study rack.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The design of this is so poor I wonder if the person responsible for it has ever seen a wine bottle. As you can see from the images, when 2 bottles are side by side one does not fit properly. The bottles are at an angle. While this can be acceptable, with this unit any slight jostling will cause the bottle to slide slightly down. Eventually this will cause the bottle to drop from the back onto the lower bottles. The standard design for wine storage is to have the bottle lay flat. I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" but for $100, this was more than a disappointment. Since I know wood working I will try and make the needed modifications. Keep looking and buy something else. This was not made for true wine storage.

Well-made bamboo wine rack. Great price, easy to assemble without tools (less than 20 minutes), clear instructions. Would buy again.

Unfortunately, it does not fit burgondy size bottles, only Bordeaux, that are fully cylindrical

Delivery was ahead of schedule, simple to assemble and seems to be of good quality (needs level flooring). Its perfect for Bordeaux shape bottles, which fit well. Need to be careful with other bottle shapes. I have several Alsace bottles which get a little wider in their mid section, they are a tight fit with no space between bottles. Burgundy bottles will not fit side by side, they need to be interspaced with Bordeaux bottles. I will buy another one when I have this rack full.

I am very pleased with this wine rack. The bamboo material is strong, stable and looks beautiful in the room. It was easy to assemble, all pieces matched perfectly, and the whole structure feels secure even when fully loaded. The 8-tier design provides plenty of storage, and it’s great that the rack is stackable, so you can adjust it to your space. Excellent quality for the price — highly recommend for anyone looking to organise a larger wine collection neatly and safely.
