Pound them hard to set
Was using to lift 4x4 concrete slabs and was able to pull them out probably my fault for not using larger size than 3/8.

Works Great! and what a deal
Used to mount a garage door hurricane brace to the floor. comes with the setting tool which worked as advertised. It was cheaper to buy these than to buy 8 of them at the big box store.

Great to secure fixtures and still be removable/reusable
Purchased these to install my manual tire changing machine and worked great. I can now secure it to my garage floor and remove it when I’m done. Very simple to install these anchors and the provide great hood down strength.

Great for temporarily mounting equipment to concrete
Quite easy to install although I would recommend something to ensure perpendicular holes. I used (for the 1/2" drop in anchor) a 2x4 with a 5/8" hole made by my drill press. The first hole- not using this- went in at an angle. One issue I had, however, was that I was unable to install any of the anchors so that the shoulder of the installation tool contacted the insert. I'm thinking that the concrete had something added to it to reinforce it. I mounted a 'parts bender' to the floor and it is solid as a rock. Also dismantled it and reassembled- no evidence of loosening.

Works Great but Must Have Bottom in Hole
Installed ten of these anchors in concrete 2 1/2” - 3” thick. Holes were drilled completely through to gravel base. Anchors CANNOT be set in this type hole without fashioning a solid bottom for the hole. Anchors will drive straight through and out the bottom of the hole without expanding . Anchors require a LOT of force to properly expand. A setting tool is included and is used to drive and expand the exterior of the anchor over the tapered center portion of the anchor. This requires a bottom to drive against. I filled in the holes with gravel to begin with and had to add a stack of steel washers inside the holes to prevent the gravel from spreading out at the bottom of the hole. This is a lot a lot of work and I would have used a Wej-it type anchor if I had known. The product description says these can be used in a hole with no bottom. Very misleading and caused a lot of unnecessary work. I scored the sides of the anchors and used anchor epoxy when setting. These were used to fasten down a hydraulic garage lift and I wanted to ensure there would be no spinning of the anchors when torquing the bolts. The anchors are doing the job and are very strong and secure.
