Sturdy, Easy to Use, and Makes a Great-Looking Walkway
I bought these concrete molds to create a walkway in my backyard, and they worked perfectly. The set comes with four molds, and theyโre sturdy enough to handle multiple pours without warping or cracking. The size is just right for stepping stonesโbig enough to make progress quickly but still easy to handle when filled. I used regular concrete mix, and the shapes came out clean with well defined edges every time. A light spray of cooking oil before pouring made removing the stones effortless. I like that the pattern looks great once laid out, and with a little creativity in how you arrange them, you can make some really nice designs. After a weekend of work, my patio path looks like something youโd pay a professional to do. Overall, these molds are well made, reusable, and give a great result without much effort. Definitely worth it if you want to add a custom touch to your yard without spending a fortune.

โข Great for Garden Paths, But Plan for Narrow Width and Extra Time
These molds work well for creating a casual garden path. Theyโre sturdy and reusable, but I wish they were larger and designed so curves could be made more naturally. When creating a curved path, you have to adjust spacing on the inside or outside of the curve, which makes the layout less consistent. I originally planned to make the path wide enough to roll my garbage cans from the storage area to the pickup point, but the finished width isnโt quite enough, so the container wheels end up straddling the path. Each section takes time. From mixing the concrete to pouring and cleaning the frame for reuse, expect about four hours per cycle. After several uses, itโs important to clean the corners thoroughly and apply oil to the mold so the concrete releases more easily. A couple cost-saving tips: Coloring or staining products for concrete can be quite expensive. Also, Loweโs and Home Depot often sell broken bags of concrete at about half price, and theyโre usually available if you ask. Overall, a good product for a casual path if youโre willing to invest the time.

Used to create faux brick look!
Saw these used in a diy Pinterest post, so I decided to give them a try. Used these to create a faux paver look in our backyard on our tired and old looking concrete. Used with spray paint and it turned out even better than expected! Just be sure to press the form down on the concrete so the spray paint doesn't run. But these were durable, a great value, super easy to use, and created the look we were hoping for!

Pretty Ok once you get the hang of it
The instructions sucks, the first dozen I made sucked but Iโve done hundreds now so hereโs how to make it work: Mix 1 80lb bag of the cheapest concrete you can get into the consistency of thick pudding. Slop the concrete into the molds, you can use a trowel but with the size of the individual โstonesโ itโs cumbersome, I eventually just put on rubber dishwashing gloves and used my hands. Much faster. 180lb bag of concrete will fill about 4 molds. Donโt wait for the concrete to dry before remove the molds. Remove the molds by grabbing the edges of the mold and gently shaking them as you lift up. This โvibrationโ will loosen the mold without damaging the wet concrete stone. PROS: -molds can be used hundred of times. -slightly cheaper than buying pavers, but barely. -prettier than square pavers CONS: -way more work than buying pavers -the gap between the individual stones is much smaller than the gap between each mold. Youโll have to wait for them to dry then โscootโ the stones together to make consistent gaps between them. -the stones are small, youโve got to make them perfect or it looks like trash. OVERALL: Not a bad product. Lots of work, takes practice. If I could do it all again Iโd buy a mold with bigger stones, but I donโt regret the purchase.

product does what it says
Product did what it is intended, the drawback is the size, since they are approx. 12 x 12 inches there is more work trying to decrease the size of the spacing between. They best way is to wait a bit longer after pouring the first unit and to move it to its next location after hardening of the cement. If you put four down the spacing between the molds is twice the size meaning more fill after
