I wanted work surfaces and a surface where I could place something cold from the fridge or hot from the microwave or stove. I would never try to put horribly hot cast iron on them or use them as a cutting board, so they are perfect for me and they look good in the kitchen, sort of unobtrusive. As I said, I have butcher block counters, teak, and I didn't want a bright color to stand out in my kitchen. I got dark brown and they are visible but not in your face. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mats *by on Reviewed in Canada 18 November 2021* It’s only been a week but I really like them. I keep one on each side of my stove at all times. I wish they were a little more clear but I can still see some pattern on my countertop so it’s ok. I don’t put hot things on my counter without a trivet so I can’t say how well these mats are for that, but they protect from scratches and potential stains. They are not sticky, and so far they have been easy to clean. ## Frequently Bought Together - GASARÉ, Set of 2, Extra Large, Thick, Silicone Mats for Kitchen Counter, Heat Resistant Mats, Countertop Protector, Non-Slip, Easy to Clean, 25 x 17 Inches x 1.4mm, Semi-Transparent - Silicone Mat for Kitchen Counter, Heat Resistant Nonskid Table Mat for Air Fryer to Site on, Countertop Protector, Thick 2MM, XL Large - Silicone Mats for Kitchen Counter, Treerit 47.24"x 23.62" Extra Large Silicone Countertop Protector, Non-slip Heat Resistant Mats for Countertop, Shipped Rolled Up, No Creases, White Translucent --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/280488248-gasare-extra-large-thicker-heat-resistant-mats-countertop-protector-silicone](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/280488248-gasare-extra-large-thicker-heat-resistant-mats-countertop-protector-silicone) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
