I rely on the daily practice workbooks to save valuable time. The ready to implement activities are perfect for daily morning review or homework. The activities can also be used for intervention skill building to address learning gaps. These books guide my students through the five steps of the writing process: prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing with fun daily activities. They build student's confidence with independent learning activities focusing on grammar and language skills. They make at-home learning, whole class instruction, or small group support, quick and easy, especially during this time of a pandemic. They include standards-based activities, easy to follow instructions, and an answer key to quickly assess student understanding. I love the ease and simplicity of this product. I have purchased over a dozen for various grade levels that I have taught. Having these workbooks, especially the CD that accompanies it for easy printing, has made planning so much easier. I highly recommend these books!

Really love this. I love the 180 days workbooks in general. This one is setup by weeks, and there's an activity for each day of the week. One week, sometimes two, have a consistent topic or theme. The assignments throughout the week lead up to a final writing assignment at the end of each week. Some weeks use a rough draft, editing,etc, some free writing, and so on. It covers the various types of writing. Also encourages use of cursive at least twice a week. Gives topics and encourages creativity: Greek mythology, natural disasters, dream vacation, classic fairy tales from villains perspective, geography, etc.

I did not receive a Cd with my “used” book. The book came in excellent condition. I will be using this with my homeschooler. If you are looking for a book the student can work through by himself, this is not it. It may need some explanation to grammatical terms and writing terms used in the book. The book is broken down into topics every few weeks with daily assignments to complete. My 6th grader is not an enthusiastic writer at this point. I have not decide if we will actually use this book or not yet in the fall. I had purchased it in the summer to review the materials.

EXACT WORK BOOK AS FROM/ IN SCHOOL. PERFECT FOR WRITING LESSON AT HOME.

We do 1 page a day out of every book, plus Spanish, daily reading, etc. These books are PERFECT for extra practice, homeschool, studying etc. I only wish they made a set for 7th & 8th grade as well.

My daughter is homeschooled and uses this in addition to her other curriculum. It is fun, thought provoking and she looks forward to doing it every day.

Amazing workbook

I am a teacher. The doesn't ways to use are a bit all over the place. However if you read each lesson you can work into a lesson plan.
