In this day and age, someone may try to steal, get pissed and take the pins.** A: Currently there are no locking pins for the adjustment pins. We have a lock to lock the whole unit to the truck. If you are worried someone may steel them, you might want to carry an extra set of pins with you. **Q: how long is the receiver shank?** A: its a standard length with 2 holes for the pin to go thru to adjust if needed.
