Buy This Light...Seriously
I was hesitant at first to purchase this, but after reading the other reviews I tried it out, and I have to say I was blown away! I have used Streamlight and Olight lights for the last few years in EDC and have experience with Surefire X300's in my classes. Don't be thrown off the by low price expecting poor quality. This light is every bit as good or better than a Streamlight TLR-1 or PL Pro for 1/3 the price (And they both are made in china anyway, just like this one...) and the Surefire X300 for 1/5 the price. The construction feels sturdy and tolerances are tight. It's all metal, and it holds up just fine under recoil from 9mm up to my 45 supers. It's 200 lumens brighter and has 3000 more candela than the TLR-1 or Surefire; has a good run time (stays at full brightness the whole time too unlike Olight) and it fits in my holster set up for TLR-1. The switches are a bit less "crisp" than my tlr-1, but that is completely irrelevant to me. It's extremely bright, it turns on and off when I want, it has options for strobe for those who want that for some reason, and it does securely fit both glock and pic rails. I've tested it on both polymer and metal rails and it fits securely with 0 wobble or rattle. This will do just fine for any CCW or Home defense pistol set up. Don't do anything ridiculous like go swimming with your pistol or drag it behind your truck up a mountain road and it will do the job perfectly. Plus you don't have to spend $150-$300 on a 10 year old light design that hasn't changed.

If it fits, This is THE Light
Pros: ·It's CRAZY bright; will definitely illuminate every detail of whatever object/person you happen to be pointing it at, even far away. ·It's really simple to use if you think of it like a computer mouse (one click turns on a solid beam; double clicking turns on the strobe effect. Just replace "clicking" with the power switch, and now you know how to use it) ·It's friendly to both left and right handed people; turning the switch clockwise or counter-clockwise works the same. ·While it can get warm (mine has gotten to body-termperature in room-temperature environment after extended use), it doesn't seem to get hot- though there is a "HOT" warning on the housing. ·Battery life is better than I expected. I wish I could tell you how long it does last, but mine's still going after a couple/few hours of use ·Simple to install, even comes with tools to help with installation- I personally found a US Quarter coin to be effective instead. Cons: (None so far. If any issues arise, I will update) Other thoughts: ·Be careful with the dimensions of your weapon system and the dimensions of this light. Consider that the bulb of the light extends roughly 1-inch forward of the rail, and the switch extends 1-inch back of the rail, with the rail itself measuring 1.5 inches between the two (this may be consequential on a pistol that is holstered!). Assuming this isn't an issue, GET IT! You'll be glad you did.

TLR1 Clone?
I originally went to Bass Pro Shops looking for a Streamlight TLR-1, but I couldn't justify the high price tag. I decided to take a chance on this light instead, and after owning it for over a year, I can confidently say it was the right decision. First, durability: I have put this through the ringer and drop-tested it multiple times, and it is still fully operable and reliable. The size and form factor are almost identical to the TLR-1, fitting my setup perfectly. It is super easy to operate and exceptionally bright. The only minor observation is that it is slightly heavier than the name-brand version, likely due to more robust materials, but it is hardly noticeable while shooting. With top-tier features without paying premium prices, do not hesitate to use this one. It’s an amazing, durable light. I hope this helps.

Better than expected.
Bought it 2 years ago and it’s as good or better than my Streamlight no reason to spend the extra money for the Streamlight name.

Inexpensive but rugged
I needed a simple low cost light that's going to ride around in the truck. This one fits that bill, it's built sturdy, it's a bright light and it meets my needs.

Why spend more?
I’m a retired LEO and was on three different special ops teams in my career, so I was issued a plethora of the latest quality accoutrements, to include numerous Streamlight and Surefire products. I get bored and shop for things I don’t need on Amazon and this little dude popped up, and the price was irresistible so I thought I’d give it a try for s***s and giggles. It’s quite solid to the touch, mounts very securely, is as bright as you’ll ever need on a pistol, has been very reliable (so far, but I have zero concerns), and has four simple rocker functions that work every time in the permanent “on” (to the left) and temp on (to the right) positions for both solid beam (one tap) and strobe (two taps). Battery life has yet to be fully explored but a battery is a battery and in my experience they don’t vary much from light to light. You can spend much more for brand names, blindingly higher lumens, or a silly built-in gimmick laser that'll immediately be knocked out of cal and I’d NEVER trust over iron sights, but this is all you’ll ever need to illuminate 99.9% of situations outside military or rigorous LE applications, and as a veteran of both I’d trust it then too.

3 year update
This has been my duty light for the last 3 years or so. I've put roughly 1200 rounds down range with a 9mm with this mounted. At around 900 or so rounds is when I started having issues. The switch when you activate the light gets jarred loose on every shot and the light will turn off, even with the switch still in the on position. Now for the smaller bits, it has a nice design, I think it's like TLR 1/1HL size or so. The front led cover *is* plastic on mine, that could be an issue for durability or prolonged shooting. It's got a nice weight to it. And the mount is good. I used blue loctite and it hasn't loosened over the 3 years, I took it off and remounted it a few times as well. The coin key to tighten or loosen it was a nice touch. Just don't let it in your coin jar,.. Never see it again. When it *was* working fully, obviously it did get hot kind of quickly. The battery life is OK., I got the name brand batteries for it. If I had to buy it again.. Yea I probably would. I'm bummed that mine is currently having issues but I may break it open and see if I can't fix it. If you just want weight for range quals though, works nice. Coating is decent, little bit of slide wear and burning on the top but that's about it. If the internal switch was a bit more durable on mine, this would have been as easy 5 stars.
