5 in 1 Builder Base Strengthening Gel 15ml (Light Pink)

This builder base gel works well if you’re looking to add a bit of strength to natural nails. It applies smoothly and cures well under a UV/LED lamp. The consistency is good – not too runny but still easy to work with. It seems to help nails feel stronger and gives a nice base for gel polish. The bottle size is fairly small, but a little goes a long way so it should last a while with normal use. Overall a good product if you want a strengthening base coat for gel manicures.

This was my first time using builder gel, I've always been an acrylic girl from the age of 12, now I'm nearly 30 I thought I should start steering away from acrylics and to try and strengthen my natural nails. I was a little anxious as I've never used builder gel before, nor have I used gel colour but there's a first for everything! It did take me most of the day to master the technique but once I had done one hand, the 2nd hand didn't take too long. The colour is perfect if you want to paint over it, and also a perfect colour on its own if you prefer the natural look. The coverage is perfect, can't fault it at all. It dries under the lamp in 90s, which I found surprising as its a thick consistence. Once they're dried and you've wiped off the stickiness, I filed the tops ready to paint over with a gel colour. I did my nails at the start of August, and it's now the 17th September, I've had no chipping, no nail breakage at all, which I was really surprised by, I always got acrylics due to my health causing weak nails, even with my feed I still have the worst nails, but I was pleasantly surprised at how strong they are. The tips of my nails would always bend but I can whole heartedly say the tips of my nails don't budge, they're solid as a rock. Incredibly happy with the product, and I've attached images of when I first did my nails, and then 4 weeks of re growth with no chipping. This was my first time so please excuse the unprofessional painting I've done, practice makes perfect I guess. The main thing is, it's absolutely brilliant and I can't recommend it enough!! Just as a side note, I didn't use mylee gel polish, that was from beetles.

I love this builder gel but I don’t love this colour. It almost makes your nails look a bit dead. Not a huge fan of the translucency of it. However, the gel itself is great. If you prep your nails well enough beforehand it does last for ages!

I’ve e used this product for about 2 years now, it does what it says. If the prep is done correctly, there’s minimal lifting on the edges and nothing at the base. The photos are of day 1 vs 22. There’s a little cracking on index and middle fingers of dominant hand and some minor lifting on the edges on some nails but nothing major. Main things to be aware of: Prep well, dehydrate the nail. I’d personally only do a dry manicure before applying this product, otherwise the leftover moisture will lift the product right away. it’s a runny product, so you must shape, level, cure each nail individually. It take a while to figure out how to get an even finish. I tend to apply, clean any excess and the flip and turn the nail until the apex is where I want it, then into the lamp upside down. Take as long as needed to clean the product off the skin before you cure, it otherwise it will lift right away and look terrible anyway. You need less than you think. I’d personally try not to layer the builder gel and apply all the product you need in one go; I’ve found it tends to crack and lift easier and last much less if layered. You may experience heat spikes. I just take my hands out of the lamp, cool off and back in. It happens, but not always.

Gorgeous nail polish with a great, thick consistency. Compared to other BIAB and gel polishes I’ve tried, this one lasts noticeably longer. The neutral shade with the subtle glitter gives a very clean, polished, and mature look. It’s versatile enough to wear all the time and works with everything. This has definitely become my go-to colour — I’m obsessed!

According to their website their products no longer contain hema. However - since it’s impossible to know how old the stock we are buying from Amazon is, it’s possible that their old stock does contain hema since they use the term “no longer contains”. I’ve been doing my nails at home since gel nails were first a thing back in the mid 2000s & never had an issue before. Then around 6 weeks ago, I bought their base & top coat, builder gel & poly gel. Within 2 weeks I noticed a discolouration of one of my nails but didn’t pay much attention as I thought it was just a white mark like we all get. Then imagine my horror when I came to take my polish off for a new application to find all my nails had lifted off the nail bed. The only thing I’ve changed is to Mylee from another brand & this happened straight away it seems (albeit I didn’t realise in order to react quick enough before the damage was well & truly done). So, whilst I cannot prove this product is the cause, all the evidence is pointing that way. Therefore if you have any known issues with hema or you notice ANY discolouration of your nails when using this product, remove it immediately before you end up losing your nails like I have. I’m mortified as I had beautiful long nails that were mine & not extensions & now they are receding every day to the point I’m expecting them to fall off in the next week or so. It’s a shame as the product itself seemed fine but now I can’t risk using it again after this reaction.

Great for creating strength as a base for gel nails. My nails are brittle and I trust this every time.

Used this for years never any issues. Purchased two bottle recently, super pigmented and this one. Both bottle extremely thick and gloopy have to rest the bottle in boiling water to make it near usable. Never had retention issues until these new bottles, now peel off within a matter of days. Seems to dry very hard, was more flexible before so adhered to nail plate better. Seems to be reformulation? Won’t be purchasing again, very disappointed

La tenue est très satisfaisante et le produit est parfait pour réaliser une belle manucure à la maison. Je suis conquise par le résultat et je le recommande sans hésiter !

Leider sind meine Naturnägel mit dem alter nicht mehr so stabil wie früher. Mittlerweile sind sie brüchiger und reißen schon mal ein. Daher bin ich auf diesen Lack gestoßen. Ich trage immer 2 Schichten nacheinander auf und so sind meine Nägel wieder wunderschön lang und widerstandsfähig geworden. Natürlich muss man sich an die genaue Verarbeitung incl. Cleaner zwischen den Schritten halten. Aber dann klappt es wirklich super!! Bestelle ich immer wieder gerne.

Es una pasada de producto. Yo compré a finales de julio el transparente para intentar hacerme las uñas en casa. La intención era fortalecerlas porque se me rompen fácilmente pero cuando me puse hacerlas, decidí aprovechar el producto y alargarlas. Pues a día de hoy y desde entonces llevo mis uñas que parecen hechas en un centro de uñas. Siempre he sido bastante mañosa para arreglarme las y me las hago con esmalte permanente. Pues ahora tengo unas uñas perfectas y siempre arregladas. Me retiro el esmalte permanente con una lima y después pulo. Una vez pulido le doy una capa del esmalte para seguir manteniendo el largo y a la vez cubrir la parte de uña que ha crecido. Es muy fácil de hacer. Lo que más cuesta es la primera vez que las haces porque si quieres extender la uña tienes que usar las pegatinas que venden. Eso es la parte más complicada. Una vez que consigues hacer la extensión ya solo tienes que mantenerla añadiendo capas según vaya creciendo tu uña. Se lima muy bien y le puedes dar la forma que más te guste. Necesitas 4 capas y curar cada capa durante dos minutos. Una vez hecha la uña ya puedes pintarla con permanente. Yo sigo los mismos pasos que con mis uñas naturales. Espero que os haya ayudado.
