I would think as long as the program is compatible it would work. Sorry, I have not tried a tablet. **Q: How many actual animals are included?** A: 26 animals and 5 food cards **Q: does this work with the amazon fire hd tablet?** A: I don’t know if it’s compatible with amazon fire hd tablet. Check octagon studio’s website. **Q: do they work on Kindle or do they need a special kind of 4d tablet?** A: I cannot respond about kindle, but they work on my non-special iPhone.
