New Cat Condos 140003- Solid Wood Cat Climbing Tower Cat Tree, Beige

This is our second tree like this one and the cats still love it. It is used by three and the first one lasted for about three years of abuse by them. Very well used and they like that it has real carpet instead of this fluffy stuff that rips when they climb on it. They also like the rope that’s tightly wrapped. It’s easy to put together and we added another piece as climber for them to make it a little sturdier when they jump on it. One of them is quite large (17 pounds) and he could tip it over without. But they really like the top spot on this and the big one likes to sleep up there. I can recommend this item.

Very well made and my 2 kiddos are very hyper and this withstands them both. Very happy with this purchase

My cat loves this tower.

My cat loves to sleep in it. Very sturdy and holds up well. My only gripe is that if you twist one of the parts all the way, it doesn’t line up evenly with the rest. I just leave it slightly loosened to make it even and it works just fine. Carpet is super sturdy and I’m glad I purchased this one instead of one of the cheaper flimsy ones.

I got this for my 14-15lb cat. It’s been 2 days now and he hasn’t been wary of it at all and surprisingly, did not freak out because something new was added. He immediately sat on top of the stuff to explore when I opened the box. He seemed more interested than put off by the smell and started rubbing on everything. It took me 5 minutes to assemble, but an hour to disassemble the top perch from the pole. I decided to take off the top bed but keep the pole because there wasn’t much space between the bed and the top of the tube for my cat to stand up or have the ability to jump up there. I kept the pole in case he wanted to scratch on it. I’m very happy with the size of the tube and the beds. The tube is big enough that he only has to crouch a little to stand, and he is easily able to turn around in it without having to stick his face out the window. I think the window of the tube is big enough that he could climb through it if he tried. The other perches can very easily hold him without him spilling out the sides like on his old tree. There is even extra room for him to spread out on the middle one. The only thing I’m disappointed by is how close together the middle perch and the tube are. The tube slightly hangs over where the middle one is which means there isn’t as much room for him to jump. It’s fine for getting inside the tube but I’m not sure if he’ll be able to jump straight up to get on top of the tube. I’m keeping his old cat tree next to the new one as a platform to jump off of for now but maybe he’ll get more comfortable in the future. Overall I really like it and he will already jump onto the top of the tube if he’s interested in a toy up there and I’ve found him napping on the middle and perch once already.

The longest post is not plumb, but instead leans outward, and when the cat scales the post on the tilted side, the whole base moves. In addition the longest post will not stay screwed tightly together. We have to retighten it about every two weeks and we tighten it as much as we possibly can, to the point I think we are going to twist the screw off. Overall it is just not stable. I tried every way I could to contact the company with not a peep in return. I am sorry I bought it and would not do it again. I have several cat towers that had to be put together, and none of the others have any problems at all. But this is the only one by New Cat Condos. And the last. Update: the tallest post is now the shortest post because the top bent and fell over onto my good chair. See picture. Going to dispute the credit card charge. From looking at the guts of the post union (see third image) this was never going to stay together Further Update: I got a refund and a pickup from Amazon after about 45 days, but they charged me about 20% restocking fee! Like they are going to put the broken one back into stock? I'm done.

This cat condo is ok. Two of the verticals were cracked and it’s a little top heavy, I have secured it to the nearby wall to be safe. The carpet material is cheap and falls out easily. The only reason I didn’t return it was because the box was massive and I knew I could glue the broken pieces. Despite my issues, my cats like this cat condo.

Easy to assemble. Cats climbed right on them. They look tidy in our space. I'm very happy with this purchase.
