XHDATA AN-80 Shortwave Reel Antenna FM SW External Antenna

Great accessory that I use with my ATS mini v4 radio on hikes and fishing trips.

I clipped this onto my shortwave radio antenna and it brought in channels I hadn't recieved before. This is a great product, at a great price.

This is an excellent product and does give you better reception but you have to apply some radio knowledge. If you use this inside near tvs or routers etc etc it will mot work well. Fact is your radio won’t either. If you use this with your antenna extended away from electronic noise and of course when shortwave stations are broadcasting you will see results On the east coast of the US I use this out side at night and yes I actually went online to see when the stations are broadcasting. Shortwave is not a clockwork schedule and yes you will need to do some research as to who or what is broadcasting on a given date and time I would use this again and yes I would give this as a gift. Do not expect the works for a basic wire spool extension but you will See improvement.

This works exactly as it should. It's surprisingly strong for it's light weight.

I'm using this with The sun's PL-330. I'm in a noisy suburb with significant interference and tried this in my backyard as far away from the house as possible. It did boost the signal by a small, but fairly insignificant amount. The problem is that it also boosted the interference by a greater amount relative to the small improvement in reception. In other words, I received better audio using the telescopic antenna built into my PL-330. If you're in a very low noise area, this may offer you a slight improvement, but if interference is already an issue for you, this probably isn't the antenna for you. Will probably just need to get myself a magnetic loop antenna.

I've used this antenna extension to bring in far away FM and Short Wave stations. I've tried it on a couple of different radio's and it works great. Good value for the money and fast shipping. You should buy one to clip to your own radio's antenna especially in case of emergency. Oh, and my truck has a vertical rod type antenna and when I'm parked somewhere, I can clip this antenna extension to bring in extra AM or FM stations. It works! It's easy and fast to reel back into it's portable case with just a finger. I sincerely recommend it.

Works well for what it is which is a simple antenna wire on a real. It’s compact and carries well with my radio in a small bag. Great price compared to other makes and I’m sure there isn’t much of a difference so I’m happy with this purchase

Não atendeu as minhas expectativas

For the price it appears to be well made, it was all I needed for travel. Much more convenient and neater than a pice of wire and alligator clip.
