I got this product as a gift assuming that high price translates to quality. Product stopped glitching after 1 month, and stopped completely afterwards. Avoid this seller!!!!

Really fast downloads. Excellent range. Setup was relatively easy although you must setup a VLAN; otherwise no internet. The manufacturer fails to mention in the instructions.

For those who complain that this router has a simple interface and no settings... That is only true if you just use the dlink app. Browse to the admin interface via a web browser (and if on a mobile browser, then select 'desktop') and you have tons of settings. This router is very fast, works great, and quite flexible in its quality and settings. I have been using dlink routers for at least 18 years and have never had an issue with any of them. 5 stars all the way.

This was a replacement for a device provided by our cable provider. The unit was inexpensive(sale), easy to administer, has good signal coverage, and so far the performance is solid. After a few months, I have no regrets. I would recommend this unless your requirements justify the top mesh WiFi alternative.

This is a a very good router and it has a decent coverage for small to medium sized homes. The best feature of this router is, the "smart connect mode" which does not require you to have the two different SSIDs for 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi. You can just turn on the smart connect feature in the router settings and that requires you to have just one SSID. Whenever you connect any device to the router, it automatically decides which device to provide 5GHz coverage and to which provide the 2.4 GHz coverage. For example: If I connect my TV which is not too far from the router, the router will automatically provide 5GHz coverage to it. And, when I take my phone a little far and then try to connect to the wifi then it will connect to 2.4GHz because 2.4GHz has better range than 5GHz. This kind of smart features makes this one of the best router in its segment. I have my TV, 4-5 mobile phones, 3 laptops and an iPad always connected to the wifi and this router excellently manages decent coverage and internet speeds to all the connected devices. Although, I was a bit skeptical before investing such a large amount on this router, I am very happy right now with my decision to purchase it.

This router does a great job! No complaints on its functionality. However, I have two warnings: 1. This router is discontinued as of 2021, so there will be no tech support for it after Dec 2020. 2. The app you need to set up the wireless did not work for me, so I went to their website to look for help. A chat popped up asking if I needed help. DO NOT ANSWER THE CHAT! It is a scam to get you to pay to install the router and do fictitious work to improve your computer. Look for a phone number on the D-Link webpage for support and call. Their tech people were kind and took 5 min to install it for free. Even careful people like me can be fooled! I was lucky my instincts kicked in before damage was done.
