Hario Slim Water Jug, 1400ml, White

This is our favorite water jug at our place. It's light, slim, and easy to hold. It looks elegant and fits in most places. The size is just right and doesn't occupy too much space while having a good capacity. It also fits in the frig side-door storage. The opening is big enough for easy cleaning and the glass can withstand hot water. My family uses this water jug very often and this is our third one over years due to accidents. This water jug lasts a long time and the overall construction is pretty strong. We had a few accidents by knocking this jug to other objects on the side and bottom and it stays strong. However, I did notice that its corner is the weak spot (see my picture) so do be careful not to hit the corners. I have also noticed that the newer design features a stronger handle part and a tiny bigger opening (the top cover now leaves some space for hot air to come out instead of sealed). Overall we think this water jug is well worth the price.

Overall excellent quality. I poured boiling hot water directly into pitcher. No issues. Easy to clean. Saves room in the refrigerator. Slim look. Pours with no leaking. Top with no chemicals

I love it and I love it again! So, much in fact I brought another! First, I love how light it is. This jug is made in Japan and I send my utmost respect to the Japanese people. You guys know how to make water jugs. It is super light and most of all sturdy in my case. Then again it is sturdy for me because I am very gentle lol. The handle is another thing to love about it. The design is superb it just fits into my hand. I literally spent hours searching for a jug and had to return another one I brought from Amazon. So, this just made my day and I use it daily. I really recommend this marvel of a water jug. Thanks for your time.

I love this glass pitcher. First, it’s attractive, well made, and a real space saver both in my fridge as well as taking up little cupboard room. I use it mostly for iced tea that tends to stain glass and ceramic. So far, I have had no tea stain issues. I hand wash so cannot speak to how it fares in a dishwasher. My final point (obvious) is that all glass vessels must be handled with care. This one is best left to adult hands. I recommend and would but again.

I love these! I bought widemouth mason jar neoprene sleeves to put on the bottoms and I even dropped one on the ground and it did not break! I just wish they made small pitchers, if they did my refrigerator would be full of Hario! The only thing I would change if I could is I would have a metal or silicone lid!

This water jug is very light and slim and very easy to use. It also hold both hot water and cold water very well. I usually make lemon water and leave it in the refrigerator. very refreshing

It's a perfect water pitcher. I love it because it fits on my refrigerator door, it's light weight and glass. Made in Japan, great quality and perfect for my needs. Came back to buy 2 more!!!

I’ve had so many of these. I’ve given them as gifts. And hated that I lost the colors. lol. One is on each night stand. One by coffee for filtered water carafe refill, one is for outside water when we have guests. I’ve broken a few. I’ve had about 7 or 8 of these and when one is gone I have to order another. These are great for small footprint, plenty of water, and easy pour. I wake up and refill my glass by the bed every night. These are used everywhere in my house besides my fancy ones in the shared rooms. Yes, buy them. Can we get the red and blues back? This is not a paid review. I wish they had all the colors they used to, but it doesn’t matter. I keep them at my house.

been using this for a few months. Fill with piping hot water and letting it cool for drinking water. Great design handle is comfortable to hold when hot. Only downside is the lid is a bit tight to get off I've knocked the glass against the counter a few times (lightly) and no damage yet. Was a bit hard to reach all the way to the bottom to wash at times, but not unmanageable.

I am so happy that I chose this glass jug. I don’t review products so often, but this one is just so good. The glass is substantial and feels premium, not thin or flimsy. And I can clean up the inside just by putting my hand in the jug. I avoided jugs with glass handles because I was scared that the handle would break easily. This jug’s handle is firmly attached and very comfortable to hold. Got two on the Black Friday sale. Absolutely love it!

This is great to have in the house especially if you like to boil your water and let it cool down before drinking. You can pour the water direct from kettle after boiled as the glass can withstand the heat. It's also a very good guide as to how much you have been drinking for the day. Packaging is superb and arrived in perfect condition.

I got them for my cold brew coffee and tea. Attractive and retro inspired. Hario makes great products.

Love the thickness of the glass, which makes the flasks feel sturdy and easy to use. Able to pour boiling hot water directly. A great alternative to plastic flasks, and no more concern of micro-plastics. Highly recommended.
