Worth it *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2021* It was what I expected kid likes it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It’s an ok microscope but it is limited *by Y***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2021* Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The Good- It is easily to use- It is great for parents who want to get kids more involved in science- It is great for kids who LIKE science- It could be useful to science students but with limitationsThe Bad- It feels kind of cheaply made- The LED is not too bright- The scalpel is plastic, soft and with no sharpness- Using the largest lens can hit the sample glass when trying to focusThis microscope can be great for kids who love science and want to see how plants, small insects and very hard to see living beings. Because of its limitations I would say this might be helpful to science students but it has big limitations.Among this limitations when using the largest lens, I found myself hitting the sample glass and still unable to find focus if the sample used was as thick as an ant. The LED light is also limited, so some samples can look dark. The sample glasses have imperfections which can be a visual problem depending on what the microscope is being used for.Because of all of these, I give this microscope a 3 stars out of 5, ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great way to intrigue young mind and introduce science- better than our old microscope *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2021* I think this is great microscope. We have a different, cheaper ($60ish) model and this is a nice upgrade comparing to the other one. It comes with a several samples so you can get the idea what it can do. You don’t have to have a cellphone but you can connect it to the phone and have your images displayed there. It comes with a cellphone holder but the holder works on a suction cups principle so you need to either remove the cellphone case or have a perfectly smooth case that can stick to suction cups.It has a lot of extras; tweezers, scalpel, glass plates for samples, little case to organize and other helpful accessories much needed.It’s a great way to intrigue young minds and introduce science, also demonstrate how nothing is the way it seems like.
