An absolute must for precision and safety, this tough polymer fence featherboard can be used in both infeed and outfeed applications. The featherboard mounts with the included heavy duty T-bolts and large, easy-to-grip threaded knobs. Fits all Rockler T-slot fences and can be used with material up to 1-1/8" thick.

Does the job called for.
I purchased a Kreg router table, fence, lifter and feather boards in 2011. I recently had a project that required routing grooves on the face of a 1-⅞" board. The Kreg featherboard (FB) only gave a max clearance of 1-⅝" when mounted on the Kreg fence. My research in Amazon lead me to two other FBs designated as 'fence' featherboards, one by Rockler and one by Peachtree Woodworking. The Peachtree FB arrived in a couple of days and did the job. Shortly after, the Rockler arrived and true to the reviews, the T-bolts had to be ground down to fit the Kreg fence. So for, I have used the original Kreg FBs a number of times and they have done the job. I used the Peachtree FB on the project above and it also work well. I have yet to use the Rockler, but will in time, I suppose. Only time will tell how durable these FBs are really are. The only reason I bought the fence FBs is for more clearance along the fence. Below are the min and max clearances, in inches, that I measured using the Kreg fence T-slot: Min MaxKreg 0 1-⅝Rockler 7/16 1-⅞Peachtree 5/16 2-⅛

Good choice for application as pictured in product description.
Featherboard as described with no gotchas. I'm actually using it exactly as pictured, on the fence of a Rockler router table. I mounted in on the infeed side (as seen) and now I'm thinking I'll buy another for the outfeed side to keep the workpiece from riding up as it exits the bit. I also purchased two featherboards of a different design to mount in the table slots to keep the work against the fence. These units wouldn't work for that application because they don't have the reach to mount in a table slot and still keep narrower boards against the fence.

Very satisfied with this featherboard
I was restoring a 200-year-old antique, rebuilding a split 1/4 inch oak plate on the top surface of a cabinet. In order to restore, duplicating the original manufacturing technique, I was obliged to cut a 3/32" tongue and groove into the original quarter-inch stock. This Rockler Fence Featherboard did an excellent job of precision feed of ancient slightly bowed and warped stock into the cutter head. The results were perfect. The featherboard allows for smooth feeding of stock. Its knobs are large enough for easy and comfortable tightening of the T-bolts. However, depending on the width of the track in your router fence, you might have to grind the T-bolts to a very slightly narrower width so they will move freely within the track.

These are the best featherboards I have found
The Rockler featherboards are the best that I have found. The plastic has a good spring to it and the hardware is very good quality. I have two of these fence-boards and also a miter slot board. Love 'em. The 5/16" t-bolts that these come with this work well in the fence slots I made using a slot-cutting bit from Lee-Valley/Veritas. I should mention that they do not fit in the slots on my Ridgid table saw fence, which uses 1/4" slots. If I want to use these on my table say, I will need some 1/4" bolts. No big deal. Highly recommended.

its ok.
I got this as a gift for fathers day. I make my own feather boards cause these prefabricated ones never seem to fit my needs. This one is no different. It needs a T Track and a certain size T Track at that or it falls out. It is made of fairly good quality plastic. Honestly, I've robbed the hardware from it for another one of my shop made jigs and have mounted the plastic feather board part in my tool cabinet. Its great for keeping your scroll and jigsaw blades organized. As you can tell I'm not thrilled with its intended purpose and I would have given it one star but I was able to find a use for it.

Too big for my fence slots.
Looks like it will work ok, but it is too big and doesn't fit the slots on my fence. I'll have to modify something and I'm too busy right now to give it any attention. I'll get to it later.I had expected to be able to use it right away.

It works good but had to drill hole to get it to bolt to my saw.
