I don't recall what I used to extend it, could have been copper pipe. Then it can be clamped with hose clamps. **Q: This says it accepts a 1.5 inch drain fitting. but in reality it's 2 inch. am i missing something or is the add wrong? this won't accept my 1.5" drain** A: Threads are 1 1/2-11.5NPSL. They are pipe threads. 1 ½” pipe is 1.9” in diameter. The ID of 1 ½” pipe depending on the schedule. As the 1.9” OD pipe has to screw into the threads, the threads are close to the OD of the pipe and are much larger than the 1 ½” call-out. NPSL as special pipe threads. S = Straight. L = Loose. NP = National Pipe. Most pipe threads are tapered, not straight. If you have any questions please contact us at 800.334.2004. **Q: what size drain will fit in this ? i need one that will accept a 2in bar sink drain in my boat** A: i believe it was a two inch drain I have in my camper. it's not a full size one like what is in your house sink. works great but the hose is really short. plan to get another piece of hose is your drain is not close to the outlet. **Q: Will this cap fit the 6gal igloo water jug amazon has?** A: The discharge end is common garden hose thread. There are much easier ways to connect for drainage without this special RV sink connection. ## Frequently Bought Together - Camco Flexible Camper/RV Drain | Designed for Campers w/Single Sink and No Holding Tanks | Includes 25” of ¾-Inch ID Hose | Crafted of Heavy-Duty Chemical-Resilient Polymer (37420) - Moen 22174 Sink Basket Strainer with Drain Assembly, 2", Stainless Steel - Elkay D115151 Dayton Single Bowl Drop-in Stainless Steel Bar Sink 15 x 15 with 2" Drain Hole --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/285948159-camco-37420-flexible-camper-drain-tap-with-hose-system-black](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/285948159-camco-37420-flexible-camper-drain-tap-with-hose-system-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
