Our new dog recently had a bad case of the fleas. This was very helpful for us. We still needed to trip to the vet for medication and future preventative. However, this helped us bridge the gap until we could get in. It was able to provide some relief for our pup and was gentle.

Flea shampoo
Another quality product from Bayer Animal Health. Bayer makes great products for your companions animals. For dogs, they make the Advantage flea treatment line. They also make shampoos and medications such as flea preventives. Their products are always of good quality and they work. This is a very effective flea shampoo for bathing your dog after a trip to the dog park. Your dog will usually pick up fleas from the dog park or any other play area for dogs. All you need is to bathe him with this shampoo and the fleas on the dog will be gone. The product does not have residual effect. It will kill all fleas on the dog but it will not do anything against fleas that hop on your dog later. Consider your needs carefully. A shampoo has a one-time effect that kills the fleas that are on the pet during bath time. For duration, you need a product that has residual effect. But do not get a strong insecticide with residual effects unless your dog needs it. Highly recommended. This is a gentle shampoo that also kills fleas. It is a good idea to shampoo your dog with this after a walk through the woods. There is no telling what your dog might have picked up. This shampoo will take care of that. Bathe your dog before bringing him back inside the house. If you take your dog to the woods often, use a product with residual effects, like the newer oral flea preventives. Bravecto is an oral flea preventive that is very expensive but every effective. Consider your dog's needs and then decide on what you need.

Nice shampoo - followed directions but our dog developed an allergic reaction after use.

Works but not very long
Works great at killing fleas, but it doesn't keep fleas of the dogs. After about a day the dogs had fleas again.

Best for killing fleas.
This year we are fighting an army of super fleas! We have tried everything to help the dogs and cats in the kennel and cattery and this is the best product we have found. We have reordered it.
