I wanted to add a 2.5 hard drive for my HP laptop, and this was the perfect solution. It was easy to install and fits my laptop perfectly. The cable is of high quality and has been working flawlessly since I installed it. I'm so happy to have found this as it saved me the hassle and expense of having to take my laptop to a computer shop especially since I can do it myself. Worked Perfectly to add a ssd to my hp laptop.

The connector arrived right on time and was very simple to install. It works just like advertised. However, the rubber bracket didn't really fit the SSD that well. I just ended up not using the bracket and having the SSD by itself.

I didn't end up using the rubber HDD enclosure as it would not fit in the laptop.

Ordered for my laptop a HP G8 250 to user alongside an acer ssd about a year ago and it works great

Honestly don't remember much about this one, but I remembered the cable didn't fit my Acer Predator. Should work for other models though.

HP255G8に、本商品を介して古い2.5インチSSDを取り付けました。併せて、OSをクローンしたM.２SSDの容量アップとメモリーも増強してみました。すべて正常に動作しています。安いビジネスユース版のPCが、少し強化されて大満足です。付属のシリコン製緩衝材はおさまりが悪く、同じく付属した両面テープにて張り付けて固定してあります。 HP255G8のメーカー仕様には、メモリー増設などは出来ないとの記載が有りますが、私が所有しているものは運よく動作してくれています。発売時期によって仕様が異なる可能性もあります。

HP255 G8 を購入した所、メインストレージは m.2 の 256GB でした。 海外のモデルでは SATA のドライブが内蔵されたモデルがあったので、 リペアマニュアルを確認して、当パーツが SATA ドライブを接続する ケーブルだと分かりましたので、パーツを手配して確認することにしました。 結果、無事にSATAドライブを増設することができました。 現在は、プライマリは m.2 でセカンダリは SATA の構成にて使用できています。

HP250G8では認識しませんでした。 HDDが悪いのかと思いHDDを３個交換してみましたが、いづれも認識しませんでした。 接触かと思い何度も外しては繋げてを繰り返してみましたが、認識しませんでした。 配線は合っていると思うので、パソコン自体が対応していないと思い諦めました。 とても残念です。
