My sister got curious one day and went through my bag and found a bottle of pepto bismol, 2 socket wrench sets, 2 wallets including my large brick shaped wallet, my kindle, my cell phone, enough sanitary pads for the women's Olympic team, assorted pens and pencils, notebooks, and every receipt or scrap of paper I've ever picked up for maybe 3 years? It doesn't seem that big at first but it's a magical bag of holding I swear! And it takes a beating which is why I wanted a canvas bag to begin with. I'm not kind to my bags so this has been thrown on floors, in cars, in lockers, in desk drawers, hung on chair backs, and smacked into any surface in my way in the go and it has no tears or marks anywhere. My only complaint really is all that weight hurts your back, but that's my fault not the bags. **Q: Can you tell me or decribe how the side pockets are closed or what get are secured with? I cannot see them clearly in the pictures provided. Thanks!** A: They are secured by a leather belt type strap. Have to be unbuckled in order to access them. Don't put something like a phone there that you need to get to quickly! **Q: what are the outside dimensions of the medium bag?** A: 15 inches by 3.5 inches. I have a MacBook in mine and it fits fine with cords and all. It also has functional pocket in the front and side and it is real leather. Im happy with my purchase. **Q: Would I be able to keep a reuseable water bottle in the side pocket of the 13" or 15" bag?** A: Just received the 13" bag - a 500ml disposable water bottle is a very snug fit. Just disregard the ridiculous leather flap & pocket buckle strap - they just get in the way (and I may decide to cut them off). ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Very poor quality *by on Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates 24 June 2024* No proper packing, hardware all old. With this hefty price in was expecting a better quality. Returned it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy duty *by on Reviewed in the United States 3 September 2021* If you're looking for a cute, lightweight, Hobby Lobby bag that adds a "safari, after my Instagram-foodie, pic" flair -this bag ain't it!-it's a legit, robust & sturdy, heavy duty, heavy-canvas, messenger bag.-It was so heavy duty that when I added my laptop, portfolio pad, daytime planner & a few other IT gadgets- it was way too heavy for my shoulder.-but still- my teenager loved it & decided she HAD to have it. So while "I" couldn't use it, it wasn't a complete loss! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 February 2017* It's a good product with nice finishing. Only reason this satchel didn't get 5* is, it only has one main compartment. I expected it to have two instead. Apart from this there's no other issues. It works just fine. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sechunk mens Messenger Bag Shoulder Bag, messenger bag - Toupons Men's Travel Toiletry Organizer Bag Water-resistant Shaving Dopp Kit Bathroom (Black Water-resistant) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/287003180-sechunk-mens-messenger-bag-shoulder-bag-messenger-bag](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/287003180-sechunk-mens-messenger-bag-shoulder-bag-messenger-bag) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
