Skier Camera Cage for Sony A7II A7RII A7SII

I bought this so that I could build a light rig around my Sony A7SII. My criteria for a cage was: -top handle for ease of carrying camera and low-angle handheld shots -cold/hot shoe mount off-center for mounting a RODE VideoMic that won't interfere with looking through the viewfinder -easy access to all ports, buttons and card/battery slots -moderate ability to expand rig if necessary -protection to camera body This cage excelled at all of the above. I have been able to additionally rig a ZOOM H4N audio recorder, wireless lav receiver and RODE NTG-2 shotgun to the cage for some situations. I can also put a tripod plate on the top of the handle for use with a pocket jib. There are only 2 downfalls I have experienced so far: 1. The cage doesn't utilize a stabilizing pin that other cages use to secure the camera in place. This cage only uses the main 1/4-20" screw to secure the camera in the cage. Therefore, if I am handholding the camera and the screw isn't over-tightened, the camera will start to wiggle a bit within the cage. To remedy this, I use a tiny zip tie to secure the camera strap ring to the side post of the cage. 2. I wish the screw for the top handle had an easier grip so that I could take it off quickly. For example, the grip for the screw on the Tilta cage top-handle is really quick. The ergonomics on that Tilta handle are also a little better. Hope this helps anyone considering this product.
