1000M Embroidery Thread

I’m absolutely in love with this New Brothread polyester embroidery thread. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, and they look stunning on my projects. What I like: • Rich, consistent color that shows up beautifully. • Smooth stitching with minimal breakage on my machine. • Great price for the quality and quantity (8 spools of 1000m each). • Nice variety — I already want to collect every color! If you do machine embroidery or sewing, these are a fantastic find. Highly recommend!

Okay, I’ve been on a journey learning to free motion quilt. I was told always use 100% cotton thread. Well I won’t be. Ever again because this is beautiful and so clean running through my machine. I have a singer heave duty 4432. I love it but it gets gummed up with the cotton thread so fast that I’m constantly taking it apart to remove the lint. Also variegated cotton thread breaks constantly and the tension is so difficult to control. I highly recommend this thread for your project. I ordered the variegated box with the black and red spool in it, this orange to yellow to white one is my favorite and I used it to quilt my sons baby blanket that I’ve been toting around unmade for five years. I cannot recommend this thread enough. Not paid just a super super happy customer that doesn’t have a lot of money to spend on thread. Super affordable and I quilted the entire 46” by 67” baby quilt with one spool ♥️ I cannot believe how easy it is to use, how well it works through my machine and the thread thickness is perfect

I purchased thinking this would work for hand embroidery not realizing there’s a difference between the packs you can get at a craft store for 50¢ and the spools you need for a machine. So I can’t say much. I ended up keeping it for future use even though I don’t need it. Colors are as expected.

I love the variety of blue spools and how they come in a nice reusable container. I think the price is good for what you get. I will definitely purchase from them again.

It seems like the thread is fine. We've done a few embroidery projects with it now and no problems with the thread. But the spool the thread is on is not working out well. The thread tends to pop off the top of the spool if you aren't careful handling, and then you have to carefully unwind and rewind A LOT of thread to get it right. I had to cut off a large amount on one spool. Also, the opening at the bottom, where the spool rests on the machine spindle, is too large. Maybe that is more for professional machines...I don't know, but the opening is about 1/2 inch, whereas spools from other companies are 1/4 inch. So without an adapter, this spool tends to wobble all over the place.

I use Maderia as a rule, but before I got my Melco a couple of yrs ago, I used this brand fairly regularly. I can't really get to any stores where I live, so it's convenient. It is a bit on the thin side, and doesn't quite pass the break test, but it has worked for me many times (overall for the past 4/5 yrs or so). I try to only use it on occasion for the great variety of colors they have, over other brands- and of course, they are way less expensive. Having said that, in my opinion, these are best suited for smaller home machines. A true commercial machine like mine, deserves a great poly thread, and the force of my machine is too great for these tiny spool (don't worry, there's a lot on the spool surprisingly), but I was able to rig up a solution that works so I don't have that problem anymore. If I used these predominantly, I would be doing my maintenance much more frequently, and you should too. This thread will produce some lint (but again, not bad for what it is). I would do a swatch test if what you're doing will ever need to be washed, to be sure it doesn't bleed, but I personally haven't had any complaints from the customers who've ordered custom quilts/baby shower gifts from me. All of their colors are really pretty and there is almost any color you can imagine. Works great for home machines - even the faster ones (my first two were Janome and Elna which are basically the same machine with a different label). I used these for those most often.

I love the Brothread thread because it's so different ... And i don't have to change the thread color every time, and my embroidery looks very nice because it has a different styles and shades of colors in my projects.
