I can tell you that this is the most effective lotion/cream I have ever used for dry flaky skin. I love it! **Q: Does it work on red leg bumps?** A: Do you mean on the calf area? Are they a rash mostly on back of leg, kind of like blackheads but are mostly reddish? Or are they swollen and sore? The aspirin in the lotion could make them a bit irritated, but I don’t think it would do real damage. You can get a shower gel without the lotion. I even use it on my face at night and it gives this 66yo the skin of a baby when I wake! This powerful lactic acid cream makes excess keratin melt away. I strongly recommend it to my patients, my family and my friends who have any such problems.A few characteristics to be aware of:1) It smells 'tangy' when applying but that dissipates.2) I don't use it on my body at bedtime because then I stick to the sheets (except on my face)3) If you have any breaks in the skin it will sting when applying. The lotion feels a little like I just got out of saltwater, and I don't love that, but the benefits are worth it. And to get around that feeling I use this lotion in a light coat then I'll moisturize with one of my favorite scented lotions over top. Works perfectly! My skin everywhere is so much softer, more hydrated, the tone and texture is more even. I really wish I would have found this sooner.
