I'm 17 and studying to take the GED in September. I have up to a 9th grade education and have taken 10th+11th grade classes. I took the practice tests online (highly recommend if you want to know where you'll score on the real exam) and I passed each one but wanted a higher score as I am a big of an overachiever. Sooo I got this book to study over the summer and the best part about this is the first thing you do is take the practice exam, and then there's a chart to tell you which pages to study. In my opinion it goes very into depth - especially in the math section so if you struggle with math, including standard single step equations, this will explain it for you! I love the way this book is set up and I think it would be a great tool for anyone with any education background to use to get their GED!! Good luck to everyone taking that step ❤️🎓

So.. I purchased the 2022~2023 version thinking it would have more stuff ..I have a 2021 version as well they are identical! But I would recommend the book tho it has lessons for you to do after reading the chapters. It gets your brain working And it’s very straight forward. I’m studying to pass my math part I’ve passed the rest of the subjects and I’ve taken the hiset (math part) twice already I had the 2021 book but never picked it up with now failing the test twice I finally looked into the book and this book explains everything that’s on the test. Regret not opening this book up sooner! The shipping was fast and the book was in good condition..and you can’t go wrong with the price! For my 2021 version I paid $40 :(.Just a heads up for those who have - 2021 book it’s the same as 2022~2023UPDATE!!!! I PASSED my test! Wooohhooo! Get the book if you don’t have any version.

My daughter is using this to study for her GED. It's very informative and helpful. I also like the practice tests it has. They are very helpful.

The media could not be loaded. I usually buy second hand GED books… lost the first book when we moved, and couldn’t find the second one so I decided to buy this last new one. (the cheaper and more recent the book edition was, the better it was for me to buy them..)I decided to do things differently, thought it would help me with time and do better. I would want to finish my GED this year on-time before December. I would like to keep that schedule ‘free’ (although there is nothing wrong with taking it on that time, I just want my schedule clear on December this year...)It actually has a one year active Kaplan subscription to guide me. I have been using the online website to follow through my studies and it helps me know where to go next and what to do next and already have made a schedule based on the online instructions…I have been doing GED for two years after coming to the United States from the Philippines. It took me this long due to lack of finances and resources. (No ride. Everyone has been using their car to pay rent to go work…) I have been in class face-to-face before Covid. And real-time online a year after that when I decided to come back. But decided I learn best on my own…Noticed a few spelling errors on a couple of words on the first few pages. (For me, it just means, if ever ‘I need’ another one… I should just buy another second hand book which is two to four times less inexpensive than this… or wait and buy for the next new one (new edition.)

Well written book, tests are laid out well and made it easy to grade and identify areas that needed work.We took our time going through the book and making sure everything was well understood.Test taker passed all sections on first try. I would buy again. Tests were taken in 2024 and book was still relevant.
