I bought this bag for international long-distance travel, and for that purpose it has worked well. It's comfortable to wear, works well, and is big enough for most everything. It's also quite narrow, which is good when walking in crowded or tight spaces.The main downside is its weight. I often pick it up and think it must still have stuff in due to its mass - but no, that's just the bag. Not a problem most of the time (with 80L filled, the bag weight it the least of your worries...).The weight is mainly a problem when using this pack for hiking/camping. The bag is otherwise well suited for long hikes, with a good suspension system, straps, storm covers and other standard hiking feature. One major omission - one I could hardly believe - was that there is no possibility to use with hydration packs (no exit aperture nor internal hooks, both of which are needed). So watch out for that if you want to take this pack for a an outdoor trip.Bundled raincover/travel bag works well but appears not to be as tough as the rest of the bag - after a few flights, it has already rubbed some holes into it. Likely, it will need to be replaced every 10 flights or so (at least, if the other function as a waterproofing layer is important to you).Day pack is handy but not great. My zip on this tends to catch. It's also a touch too small to get A4 paper in, which limits its use as an "everyday" or "anything business" day pack. It's also not comfortable enough to be a hiking daypack. It does fit the bill between those uses well though, and its expandability has been helpful. When the bag and daypack are full, it protrudes a long way off your back, which makes your centre of mass quite weird - I tend to wear it on the front for anything more than a few minutes' walk.Rating: satisfactory for purpose

Absolutely amazing backpack! Even better than in description, you get 1 small rucksak attached to backpack,raincover. So many pockets, very usefull. And the most important thing is spine support, very high quality and you can set up how you feel comfortable.

- sehr hochwertig, wie von deuter gewohnt- angenehmers tragen- gutes design=> alles in allem ein perfekter trekking rucksackEine Sache störte mich jedoch wahnsinnig:Ich hatte zuvor den Deuter Aircontact (55+10) und dieser hatte einen für mich wahnsinnigen Vorteil:Zwei mit Reisverschluss versehene Seitentasche, in diese konnte man pro Seite folgende Dinge einpacken:- bis zu 2L PET Flasche- Ein paar Sportschue (Schugröße 46)- UE MegaboomIch hatte meinen Rucksack verschenkt um diesen "größere" zu verwenden udn habe mich die ganze Reise darüber geärgert, dass dieser Rucksack nicht diese Funktion hat. Wurde wohl aus kostengründen wegrationalisiert....sehr sehr Schade!Dieser Rucksack hat stattdessen 2 Netzte seitlich angebracht, die leider nicht den Platz bieten, wie die Taschen zuvor.Zudem öknne Dinge herausfallen und das Ein-Auspacken ist wesentlich umständlicher... schademarmelade

Diciamo che per il costo forse non è proprio da backpackers all'avvenuta ma veramente ottimo. Avevo già preso quello da donna per la mia compagna e ora ho cambiato anche il mio. Super comodo per la possibilità di staccare lo zainetto e usarlo ad esempio come bagaglio a mano. Unica cosa se andate in posti frequentati da svedesi ecc.. attenzione a non scambiarli su autobus, voli ecc. Nei vari viaggi abbiamo notato che è molto diffuso nel nord europa e scambiarsi di zaino è un attimo :D
