Can this seal exterior textured bags the way the CV10 chamber vac can?

With my CV12 (yes, the large model) I can seal bags from the outside. It must be done a certain way. My first attempt failed, because I simply inserted the open end of the bag into the chamber and closed it. It sealed fine, but didn’t vacuum. Next I set the bag up inside the chamber, slipping the bottom edge of the opening under the clips, like you do when you’re going to vacuum seal a bag inside the chamber. Then, while holding that in place, I flipped the rest of the bag over so it hung outside the chamber. I made sure the bag extended over the sealing bar, so it would be able to seal afterwards. Make sure you use the bags that are textured on one side, like FoodSaver bags. The smooth chamber sealer bags won’t work for this. I used way too much bag in this video, and only sealed a tiny little boneless pork chop, but I think it demonstrates the technique pretty well.

Tested in the distance of 1 meter, the working sound is 74dB.

What's the differences between cv10 model and cv12? The price is huge different.

The chamber space of CV12 is bigger, the seal bar width of CV12 is wider, 12" (meaning it can handle large bags, e.g. the 11" wide bags ). And the materials are different. This one is with beautiful smoked glass lid. You can see CV12 as a professional chamber with a dry piston pump while CV10 as a entry-level chamber for small business and families.
