I have not tried to use it to remove dry paint! To clarify, SofTex is what Toyota calls their synthetic leather -- one of many animal-free and leather-like materials used in automotive interiors as an alternative to leather. I bought one off of Amazon after my dad and I used up the entire bottle he bought on all of our family cars. I work in a factory and I don’t use a cover, but you wouldn’t know it with how well this stuff does on my seat. It cleans off all the dirt from my work clothes, see the rag I used and a clean rag next to it. It would be 4 stars, but I wish it came out less goopy when you spray. It makes it saturate weird on your rag.
