This is the United Kingdom Doug the Pug, not the American one. Great book.
Easy to read, lots of photos, intended for children but enjoyable for adults. Doug works as a reading therapy dog in several settings.

so I was expecting a great book - and I was not disappointed
I flollow Doug the Pug on FB, so I was expecting a great book - and I was not disappointed! Wonderful story, great illustrations - and terrific vocabulary building for younger readers! Lots of info about pugs, therapy dogs, and more; highly recommend!

A wonderful book for children and adults.
I follow Doug on Instagram and knew I would love this book. It is even better than I expected. I will probably or a few more as gifts.

A charming read for people of any age
A lovely, charming and inspirational book that describes the valuable work of a PAT dog, in a manner that is fun yet educational for anyone - including children. I bought it as a gift for a friend who loves pugs, although very much a grown-up, she adored it.

Doug the Pug is a delightful book which is fun (and educational!) for children to read. His days as a working therapy dog are lively and interesting with the underlying theme that difference is to be celebrated. Actually, it is a book for everyone. Doug sounds simply adorable - I would love to meet him!
