**Q: Does this product adds decent volume and hold?**
A: It does add volume but is not as effective for hold.  You apply this product prior to blow drying to increase volume, but I usually use a hair spray for hold.

**Q: What is the difference between aveda volumizing tonic and aveda thickening tonic?**
A: Volumizing tonic is a clear liquid. Very light, leaves no stickiness but light to med body. Thickening tonic made my hair feel a bit sticky and dull. I have fine hair and I LOVE  the VT.

**Q: What is the difference between the thickening tonic and the volumizing tonic?**
A: Organic ingredients are in Volumizing tonic.

**Q: What is the difference between tonic and spray?**
A: No it is not

The volumizing tonic adds some volume to my roots when I spray it on damp hair and style with a large round brush. I sometimes under tease my hair at the roots but when I use the tonic, this is minimal. There is no hardness or crunchiness to my hair and it feels on the soft side once dry. It does not weigh my hair down and I condition wash the day after and my hair is still in good condition with no heavy build up.

Really works! Use it if you want lift at the crown. Doesn’t need much so it lasts ages!Definitely recommend.
