What diameter and lenght of pvc tube to use as a cannon?

I used 1 1/4” by 6.1” long PVC pipe. That length is 10 wave lengths for 22 kHz. Works good for the dogs across the street. I also used a remote control switch to active it. Press the button for 10 or so seconds rather than leave on continually.

Hello, can this be used in a car to a avoid running over dogs and cats on the streets?

I would say NO based on my experience with it having NO effect at all on any of our neighbors dogs, wild deer, ground hogs, raccoons, squirrels, coyote etc. Very disappointed… I have heard good things about the Deer Whistles or Wildlife Warning Devices sold at any box store which are only like $5.00

Is the remote control switch mentioned by others available on Amazon? Does this come with directions (I am a novice).

Search amazon for remote outlet switch. They are pretty common and many use them to turn lamps or other devices on/off by remote. Just plug the 12 volt AC adapter into that. (The LE Power Adapter lets you hot wire with an adapter it comes with.)
