KBShimmer Solar Flair Multichrome Magnetic Nail Polish 0.5 oz Full Sized Bottle

It is a beautiful color, and it reflects different shades of violet, blue, and green depending on lighting and the angle you are viewing it from. It glides on almost effortlessly, and doesn’t get clumpy even when I am sitting in front of a fan for better ventilation. Dry time is pretty average, I would recommend using this when you have a good half hour to sit still after you finish painting your nails. It works best over a black basecoat, but two coats without a black basecoat is going to work fine as well. It doesn’t chip very easily, but I am semi-feral and very rough on my nails, so I can chip this after a couple of days wear. If you are a very neat and well behaved lady, I think you could easily get a week’s wear out of this. But either I need a different magnet, or the magnetic properties did not make it into my bottle. Mine did not come with a magnet, so I bought one off of amazon. Tested the magnetic properties of that magnet with different metals, and it worked fine doing that. Just very ineffective with this polish. Maybe I just need a remedial magnet class? Maybe I am just spoiled from cat eye gel and I am expecting too much from this polish? IDK. There was no visible difference in my nail polish after using a magnet, even when I used the magnet immediately after each brushstroke. Anyway, five stars, because even if this is just a dark glitter polish (and not magnetic as described) it is still gorgeous. The price is pretty fair for how high quality this polish is. It outperforms some of the major brands in ease of application.

This polish is sooooooooooooooooo much fun!!!! I've received so many compliments on it. It lasted for a solid two weeks on my natural nails. I get my nails manicured faithfully every two weeks. My technician uses a base coat and I always request a Vynilux Top Coat. This polish did well. I do wear gloves when I wash dishes but that's mainly to keep my hands out of the bleachy water. I can see hues of purple, green, blue and golden depending on the lighting. When I first got the polish I tried it on my big toe just to see because it was not time for me to have my nails done yet. That was almost 5 weeks ago now and that toe still has the polish on it without chips!!!!!! Totally, completely and highly recommend this polish. You might consider it a tad bit pricey but YOU are worth it and you can't take the money with you. Treat yourself to this. I'll be ordering another version of this within the next few weeks or so.

I have a problem with nail polish because my nails are oily. I put on regular nail polish and within a day, they start peeling off my nails. I hate spending 65.00 a shot to go to a nail salon and get my nails done. I have tried Gel’s which over the counter never stays on. I bought KB Shimmer as a fluke because I wanted to see if the color was like the picture. Not only is the color’s gorgeous, but this is the first nail polish I had to physically remove after a week which shocked me (only reason, I wanted to try another color from this brand) I’m so impressed and the colors are gorgeous. The photo was after having it on for 10 days. No chips, no peeling. I have purchased 12 bottles so far and will buy all the colors (a few at a time). THANK YOU KB Shimmer for giving me an inexpensive nail polish that stays. Looking forward to buying more beautiful colors from your collection. I know this is a long post but because I have bought 12 different colors didn’t want to write a review for all of them so I’m combining it all in this one. WELL WORTH trying it out and this color is beautiful.

Professionals say to maintain your at home manicure you 1) remove all polish 2) clean nails with alcohol 3) use a base coat 4) apply at least 2 coats of color and 5) use a good top coat. I did all that but it's only been a few hours so fingers crossed it holds up. Now the pros - it goes on smoothly, dries pretty quickly between coats and the color variation is really fun. Cons- the brush is very wide at the bottom so getting the edges right is a little tricky and the bristles kept coming loose so I had to grab them fast without messing up the other hand. Bottom line, it's a little more expensive than I usually pay for nail polish but if it wears well it could be worth it.

I put on the first, thin coat and noticed it goes on very smooth. I was a little surprised at the color. It looked green. I put on the thicker second coat and it still looked deep green, like St. Patrick's day or Christmas. I held a magnet over it and it came out looking black and green, like the cats eye effect I was hoping for. I was a little disappointed that it did not seem to have the purples and blues that I expected when I ordered it. When I later went into the kitchen, suddenly it took on a gorgeous deep blue color. When I went into the next room it was a spectrum of colors from deep teal, to dark blue, to vibrant violet. All day, everywhere I went, my nails appeared differently. It is fascinating and spectacular. I'm not an expert at applying nail polish, but I now know for certain that the polish and the brush matter more than my skill. I don't seem to slop it around my cuticles and finger tips while trying to get the nail fully covered. It goes on and looks smoother than my natural nails. It is really nice. I need to experiment more with it and where to hold the magnet for different effects.

LOVE IT!! PERFECT SHIFTING FROM BLUE TO PURPLE!

I LOVE the color of this polish. It looks just like it does in the pictures. You will need to apply at least 2 coats to get full coverage. However, out of the many nail polishes I've purchased over the years, this stuff takes FOREVER to dry. I recently ordered a few OPI colors in addition to this polish so I could do Halloween themed nails and the OPI polishes dry in 5 minutes. This polish takes at least 10-20 mins to set and then another full hour before you can touch the nail and not leave finger impressions in the polish. It might work great on fake nails if you paint them the night before you want to apply them, but for natural nails, this stuff is kind of a nightmare. I've had to repaint nails I thought were dry at least 8 times during my first application of this stuff. Additionally, for as hard as this stuff is to apply and get it to dry correctly, it chips SUPER easily (especially when compared to other similarly priced polish brands like OPI). I've had to re-do the tips of my nails every day or every other day since I applied it. I use Sally Hansen's Quick Dry top coat with all of the nail polish I apply and I also use Revlon's Quick Dry base coat and the only polish that consistently chips is this one. In summation: Color = A++ Application Time = F Durability = D+ Great color if you have plenty of time to apply it and only want to wear it for a day or two before having to re-apply/remove it.

I like the color a lot. The color changing effect is dope/lit (however the youth refers to it). I tested it outside and it looks a lot better outside than inside. Dries quickly, I don't know how well it stays on by itself because I used a top coat to protect it either way (as I think you should). Came really quickly through mail in really pretty packaging (not that it matters much but it was nice). I have received numerous compliments and I feel great. I used around 3 coats too as most reviews say. I bought black nail polish for the base but it didn't come in time and I just wanted to test it. This is my first nail polish purchase so I don't know if the price is good or not but I will say it is for how nice the effect is and for how expensive nail polish either way seems to be. I am a guy who wanted to try it out and I don't regret it. I can't really say anything negative because I'm pretty satisfied. Update: Last around 2 weeks with a top coat and three layers of this. It didn't chip or discolor and they nail polish fell off because I frequently do stuff with my hands like chores so one nail peeled off and I decided to peel the rest off too
