**Q: I have the X core now inside are the wire post the same so can rewire just like the X core? And can it be inside?**
A: When I replaced my Hunter Pro-C controller with the Hydrawise X2 I simply took a picture of the existing wiring of the Hunter Pro-C not only to capture the wiring connections but also the color of each wire. It was then simple to connect each station wire to the appropriate terminal inside the box. If in the unlikely event your wires are all the same color, make sure to label them with the station number before you disconnect them.  In my case I only have 7 stations so only the terminals labeled 1-7 were used. Also, there is a common wire terminal labeled "C" that I connected as well. It was that simple. Make sure to test each station after making all the connections but mine worked perfectly. Also, my Hunter Pro-C was already in my garage so that's where I placed my Hydrawise X2 controller. So yes, it can be inside.

**Q: can this unit be hard wired instead of using the plug?**
A: Yes the wires are all color coded and labeled, just match them up

I got the wifi module for it. Makes it easy to manage my 9 station system. Also nice to be able to quickly diagnose sprinkler repairs by turning stations on from my phone while standing there. Setting multiple programs was super simple as well. I even have a “quick water” program to run about 10% of the normal watering cycle if it gets too hot in between my watering days. Highly recommend.
