Designed to replace lost natural oils, it deeply penetrates leather at body temperature, providing superior protection against sun, water, and sweat while maintaining softness and durability without sticky residue or discoloration. Ideal for all fine, top-grain leather goods including saddles, boots, and holsters. ## Description Made using the same all natural formula since its launch in 1936, Saddle Butter remains one of the finest leather care products available. It works by replacing the natural oils in leather that are lost through use and exposure with a blend of the finest natural oils and fats that have the same properties as those found within the leather. Unlike heavier products, saddle butter melts at body temperature, which allows for deeper penetration of the leather both when first applied and further when your leather is used. It softens dry leather and helps to waterproof as it conditions the hide, helping maintain the leather’s strength and giving it a wonderful, soft supple feel. The ultra-fine texture won’t leave your tack feeling sticky or rub off onto your clothes as oils tend to do. Saddle Butter works on all fine, top-grained leather. It has a close to neutral pH and will cause little to no discolouration of leather (always do a patch test first!). It contains a combination of fine waxes and ingredients, including beeswax and carnuba wax, tallows and pure neatsfoot oil. Each ingredient is a pure animal or vegetable product. Absolutely NO modern synthetics, mineral oils or commonly used leather-treating chemicals are used, as they break down the natural fiber and slowly rot your fine leather goods. ## Features - PROTECT YOUR LEATHER INVESTMENTS - Saddle Butter protects against leather's the three worst enemies to fine leathers: sun, wet weather, and your animal's sweat. - Bees Wax and Carnauba wax for water and AV protection. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #39,958 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #267 in Leather Care Products | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 657 Reviews | ## Images ![Ray Holes Saddle Butter, Ideal for Use on Saddles, Boots, Chaps, Gun Scabbards, Luggage, Holsters, Bridles and Tooled Leather and More, Pint Size - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nq0j6S5cL.jpg) ![Ray Holes Saddle Butter, Ideal for Use on Saddles, Boots, Chaps, Gun Scabbards, Luggage, Holsters, Bridles and Tooled Leather and More, Pint Size - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61VoAmA-XvL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Ray Holes Saddle Butter, Ideal For Use on Saddles, Boots, Chaps, Gun Scabbards, Luggage, Holsters, Bridles and Tooled Leather And More, Pint Size - 4 Pcs Horsehair Shine Shoes Brush Kit Polish Dauber Applicators Cleaning Leather Shoes Boots Care Brushes Suede Cleaner Brush with Microfiber Shoe Cloth(4 Pcs Style A) - Fiebing's Yellow Saddle Soap for Leather (3.5 oz Tin) - Leather Cleaner & Conditioner to Soften, Protect & Restore Leathercraft - Leather Soap for Car Seat, Couch, Shoe, Purse, Boot, Bag, & Saddles --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/29902826-ray-holes-saddle-butter-ideal-for-use-on-saddles-boots](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/29902826-ray-holes-saddle-butter-ideal-for-use-on-saddles-boots) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
