Better then expected
I got it as my first lonfboard and its great. It's realy good quality and fell steardy on the road. Very easy to stear. Might be a bit heavy to cary around, but for me as average guy is ok. Really enjoying spending time on it and I am sure that it will bring number of good experiances in the future.

Easy
As a first longboard it is great, easy to ride. And it is way cheaper than other high quality boards.

Buena Tabla.

THE "QUEST" FOR THE PERFECT LONGBOARD
If you're confused like I was in trying to find the perfect board and are reading my review on the quest longboard congratulations because you may just have found the one for you.Take it from someone so driven to have the best longboard that he literally spent hours and hours..some days until four in the morning just researching the right one. If you're looking for something to freestyle, something to cruise, do some downhill, and maybe even use to commute at college then THIS IS THAT BOARD GUYS!!! It does it all!! Now if you're like me you don't wanna just hear another random dude just brag about how much this board is great without any extra notable details. The board is made up of multi maple wood and artisan bamboo which is not only a sturdy, strong deck, but is also lightweight for a 44in board. As far as the 70mm polyurethane wheels they roll smoothly and aren't bad at all, but if you're like me and maybe want something a little faster and smoother and if you have a flexible budget I would recommend replacing it with the orangatang in heat 75mm wheels, if that's too expensive then an alternative can be the OJ III wheels. As for the bearings I never use stock bearings anyway just because they never roll like I want it to, if you take the bearing out of the wheel and roll it with two of your fingers it will probably barely move. Now keeping the bearings in will not hurt, but if you want better performance of with the reds bones bearings, they're meant for skating in my opinion and surpass the abec rating. As for the trucks, these are pretty decent trucks, some on here say they are bad trucks and that just isn't the case they may be cheap but they get the job done. However if you're not satisfied with them I do have some options. If you're looking for something that's super durable in extreme weather, stable for high speeds, and is very responsive go for the caliber 44. Another alternative is the Paris 180 which is its rival and the bear 152 grizzlies. The Bear 152s are underrated in that they give you the best of both worlds. Just by flipping the hanger you can have a very fast stable ride or a very responsive, carvy cruise. As for the bushings I'm not exactly sure what the heck the size is on here but I would guess somewhere under 86 which is good. One thing that a lot of sites and articles don't tell you about bushings is how important they are. If you don't know bushings are either the cone or barrel shaped rubbery things in your trucks that's attached to the kingpen. They can ultimately be the difference in have a smooth, lovely ride to a uncomfortable, nightmarish roller-coaster wreck. As for the style of the deck it isn't too flashy, but simple which I like. So yes again this is an awesome board. You don't find longboards around this price range that have goods specs like this and can compete with the big boys on the market. I really hope I helped you and if you took the time to read this thank you and thank yourself as well because I promise you..you definitely did yourself a service!!!
