The tools do the job, but I wonder what a more costly set might have been like. I wonder about this one because used one or two of the punches and found that the metal seems to sheer off over time, and I wonder about the durability. The fact that the set does not come with a hammer when others do did not seem to be very important to me until I actually started striking the end of the punches. I think I would have liked the armorer's hammer. I used an iron hammer.Overall, THEY DO THE JOB. They are more than reasonably priced. Because of the metal shavings appearing at the end of the punches, though, I do wonder about the quality. I do not believe the shavings are from the pins that I am punching in. At no point did I have any failure of any part of the tools. Everything is intact and functions properly.Just for note, this is the first time I've ever used roll pin punches, so I'm a complete beginner. Maybe I did something wrong. The nylon carrying sleeve is a very nice touch. I appreciate being able to keep them organized and conveniently labeled, since I do not think they are individually labeled.

This is a good set especially for the reasonable price. Good, heavy steel construction these pins should last a lifetime if I take good care of them. I don't need them often but they are a significant upgrade to what I've been using for decades.

It works, used it for a gas block pin. IYKYK. Amazon won't post my reviews that have pics included but the product works.
