Good Molecules Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel, Caffeine Under Eye Cream, 15 ml

Update 1 May (with pics): I took the pic initially on 23 April and it just took me forever to upload it. No improvements for the dark circles, but there's a lot of factors that could be impacting that, like my sleep schedule, my diet, my activities, and my stress levels, so please keep that in mind. It's an eye cream, not a miracle worker. :) (unfortunately lol) The puffiness has improved and the undereye skin feels soft, supple, and hydrated, it doesn't feel dry or itchy. I don't always use this twice a day, because sometimes life just gets the best of me, but I do (most of the time) put it on at night before bed. There were some nights my skin felt like it needed a break, so I'd go without any product, but for the most part it was at least a nightly thing. Fine lines I haven't really noticed that much around my eyes yet, but the cream could be helping with that since I'm not noticing any. Hard to say. The package says to tap it into the skin, but that honestly kind of irritates the undereye for me (as the product starts to dry, the finger(s) will start to stick to the skin and that's what causes the irritation), so I massage it in. Not sure if that makes a huge difference. Overall, I'd say I'm pretty happy with it, but I would like to find something that helps with the discoloration as well, so I guess I'll see if I decide to keep using or switch. Original review: To preface: In my thirties, combo skin, minor hormonal acne, minor pore concerns on my nose, otherwise have clear and even skin tone. This product is used in conjunction with other products as part of a multistep skincare routine. I've never used an eye gel before, much less something with caffeine, so this was a change for me. I like the smell, the texture, and the packaging. It has almost a tingly/cooling sensation when you apply it and rub it in, which is a new experience. It's not painful or anything, just weird. It feels like it does a good job under my eyes, but it's too early to tell if it is going to make strides in overall puffiness or the discoloration. I've been using it for about seven days now, twice a day (once in the morning, once at night). You just need the tiniest bit. It layers really well with other stuff and doesn't have any interactions/issues with makeup. It seems to last me all day, which is great, as it has been dry and cold in my region, so my skin is staying more hydrated. For the price, I'm honestly happy with it, I think it's a good value for what you get, especially considering the care they put into it. If I notice any major changes in three months or so (allegedly when you start to notice changes from skin care), then I'll update this review. :)

I’ve been loving this brand, and this eye gel has been another good experience. The formula is smooth, easy to apply, and doesn’t feel sticky once it dries. A little goes a long way, so even though the tubes aren’t huge, you don’t need much per application. I’ve noticed that it helps keep the appearance of my skin tone more even, and it provides a nice amount of moisture without feeling overly heavy or greasy. My skin looks nice and refreshed after using it. The pack came with two tubes, which also makes it a nice value. These would be cute additions to a skincare gift, stocking stuffer, or beauty basket. Overall, a simple product that feels good on the skin and has worked nicely in my routine.

So far, this is amazing for my skin. Everyone is different, of course. I’ve noticed fine lines are essentially non-existent. Under eye area is more filled out. This hasn’t done much for under-eye bags or discoloration, but it’s not necessarily for that issue. I have yet to use a good molecules product that I dislike! I have very sensitive skin. 32 y/o female, for reference. Daily staple! Smell is pleasant, very lightweight. Only need a very small pea sized amount in total for both sides. Under eyes feel extremely hydrated.

Except for darkness undereye, I don't have serious issues, no bags, no wrinkles. I find this moisturizing but don't find any lessening of under eye darkness. It's affordable, no sensitivity issues.

I get puffy eyes very easily. Allergies, lack of sleep -basically anything can make me look like I stayed up all night watching Life is Beautiful. Needless to say, I have been looking for something to reduce the morning puffiness. This wasn't quite what I was looking for. It may give results overtime, but it's not a quick fix. I was hoping the caffeine would produce same day results but the concentration is about .01 which makes it more of an antioxident than a fast solution. Although it is not too greasy or sticky and easy to apply, I think I will still look for a product with much higher concentration of caffeine. The worst part was that it actually seemed to magnify the appearance of puffiness when first applied, but this effect goes away in about 20 minutes. If a gradual eye puffiness or aging treatment is what you ate lookíng for, give it a try. Otherwise, consider something else.

Insane how good this works. I've been using this every day for the 5 days I've had it and it's shown it's effects so rapidly that I had to sit down and write a review -- something I dont really tend to do. I work 10 hour shifts 5 days a week which has made it hard for my 2 standard eye products to do their job. I have light dark circles, hint of puffiness in mornings and some eye-bag fueled lines underneath my eyes. This product, in 5 days of AM/PM use has visibly gotten rid of 1 of the 3 lines underneath my eyes and is rapidly showing the other 2 lines out the door. I genuinely blown away. Its balancing the darkness considerably nicely too already. In-between the AM/PM use of this product, I use the Revitalift eye cream under my eye on break at work to keep them loved, but otherwise, all credits for how much my tired, over-worked eyes have improved in less than a week goes to this product. It's a super lightweight gel, feels a tad sticky upon application but dries down and settles in within 15 or so minutes. A tiny scent carries it but nothing fragrance-y or really even noticble unless you sniff the tube itself. I can see this product listing me for a solid 6 months with how little is needed for application. Worth every cent! Can't recommend this enough.

This is surprising great for my under-eye bags, and a fantastic value for $5! I keep the gel in the refrigerator and then layer my re-usable eye patches over the gel while I get ready in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised, as a regular mate drinker, that I could actually smell the yerba mate in it! Not like a fragrance, just faintly in the background. Like a lot of Good Molecules' products, this has a budget price point with a surprisingly high tech formula. Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5 (Eyeseryl) targets under-eye edema, 3 hyaluronic acids, plus caffeine. Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate in the base work really well under makeup (and makes this gel feel much more luxurious than it costs.) I keep one in my bag for travel and one in my fridge. I'll be giving this to my friends who travel. Used consistently but it doesn't seem to be working. My dark under eyes still seem too dark but seemed to have improved just a tiny bit but not worth buying again. Just finishing up what I have left so not to waste it. Giving it 4 stars since the product is very moisturising for the under eyes and just fun to use. Doesn't need to use a lot of product to use on the eyes.
