O2COOL Deluxe Handheld Misting Fan Battery Powered Green

I couldn't brave this summer's heat without a couple of these in my car. Just add water and spray yourself cool. If you also add batteries to run the fan, tape the battery compartment shut--but in this heat I don't want batteries in my car.

Works great for the price; my son used it while working outdoors and of course co-workers all used it as well

These aren't worth your money. After one use, the batteries have started falling out of the compartment leaving upset kids and missing batteries everywhere. I bought these ahead of time for a trip so now I cannot return them and I'm really disappointed that they aren't worth it. If the battery compartment would stay latched, it would be fine, but useless without that.

I love this so much. The only downside is I wish they made a stronger clasp for the battery compartment. So, if you get this, just keep the batteries separate until you need them or use some tape to keep the compartment from inadvertently opening and dumping out the batteries. If they fixed that, I would give this 5 stars especially in this heatwave we have been going through this year.

My kids find this fan fun and cool when they’re getting too hot. The fan blades are soft so they won’t hurt themselves if they put their fingers near the blades. Has good power/speed and the misting component helps keep everyone cool. I’ve influenced more than one playground mom with this purchase. Biggest complaint is the location of the batteries because they tend to fall out when bumped.

If you’re pregnant during the summer, you need this. I take this everywhere and probably look crazy, but comfort is everything. Fill it up, pop that sucker in the fridge for a little, add a few ice cubes and you’ve got cool water mist with a powerful fan to cool you off.

I bought this to bring on hikes. I thought it'd help cool me off, and potentially ward off some bugs if I pointed it away from me. It does seem to work for that, but I have rechargeable batteries and they don't seem to last very long. I heard it start to slow down after only using for maybe 3 or 4 minutes. It hold a decent amount of water and I can fill if from my water bottle (which is ice cold) if necessary. I appreciate the spray feature, though in practice, out in 90+° weather, it's just blowing warm air back at you. At those temps the water from the sprayer doesn't feel quite as cooling. But it does still help! It actually also came in handy at the end of my hike, when my hair was a disaster from sweating, to dampen my hair so I could put it back up. It fits in my pack easily and isn't too heavy. It's not very loud but probably loud enough to deter some birds and maybe nearby wildlife. I'll have to try it next weekend with regular batteries. I'll get the good ones and see if they last longer than the rechargeable ones.

Perfect for my needs. I put an ice cube or two in the tank and that makes a great difference in cooling down love it.

At first glance, everything seems great. The bottle sprays, the batteries stay in place, and the fan operates. However, the fan's speed is disappointing; I could barely feel any airflow. It might have been more effective to get a separate fan that actually works well.

Mi hijo no aguanta el calor y con este ventilador se mantiene fresco e hidrata su piel

Keeps me cool when i feel flushed. I don't use water in it.

Ordered two of these - return window closed August 1 - just put batteries in one yesterday (Aug 8). Nothing. The fan doesn't even turn. Tried different batteries... still nothing. Put batteries in the second one - also nothing. Make sure you check them as soon as they arrive. I'm now out $40 with two fans that should be awesome and they're going in the garbage.

Good for summer.
